Hope we can get him back and squeeze that last little bit of talent out of him this year before saying adios in the offseason.

Pretty sure he resigns. Doubt he gets any serious offers after another injury season. He loves playing for Dallas and has stated wants to stay. Carr is gone after season, so if Claiborne leaves, we have only Scandrick and ABrown. We need to use our high picks fixing the DL and maybe another wr if TWilliams leaves.

He's pulled a piece of bone off the pelvis likely (no X-ray seen by me) the symphysis. You want that bone attached to the muscle to heal to the bone in a bony union. It's possible there will be fibrous tissue including scar tissue between the pieces of bone forming a fibrous union which is not as strong over the long run. Might not make any difference though.
Was there ever any detailed reports on that or is everything based on the statement from Claiborne? A lot of reports appear to be just repeating what he said.

I wondered if Claiborne described it correctly or if it was really a ligament tearing off the bone. Claiborne did have a 7 on the Wonderlic so he could be confused about the medical description of the injury.

That sounds like a MAJOR injury. He probably won't be back until playoff time.

I would not be surprised to see Carr return. He does stay healthy.

If Claiborne resigns, pretty sure he and ABrown will be the starting cb's next year. And most likely will use a draft pick on a cb. Ok if Carr comes back, but we need to add another young cb.

I'm 99% sure he'll be back. He cost himself tens of millions with this latest injury.

His hometown is 180 miles east of Dallas. He's got it made playing here. His dad drives a car with the Cowboys and #24 as the paint job.

I hope to God we've seen the last of Carr. I've been tired of him since season 1 here.

You are tired of the guy who plays and practices every week who is a good player and a role model off the field? Odd.

I don't care how much he practices and it's good he's a role model, but the guy can't cover anyone to save his life. A rookie has come in and outplayed him. We must be talking about two different Carrs. Is there another Carr on the team I don't know about?

when has Anthony Brown outplayed him? Carr is playing on the opposite side this year and qb's throw more at the left cb especially when its a rookie out there.

and not sure if you have been paying attention but in each of the last 3 games teams are taking multiple deep shots at Brown and he is starting to give them up. Every team we play for the rest of the year is going to keep doing that. Hopefully he holds up. I wouldn't be surprised if the giants come out and throw deep on the first play at brown just to get him thinking.

The Hatred of Carr from cowboys fans is so misguided and absurd.

No, it's not. He gives up play after play every game. I expect Brown to give up a play here and there because he's a rookie. He made a mistake against Desean Jackson last game by biting on the route. He'll learn. I don't expect Carr to make the same freaking mistakes game after game after game. We did not give him $50 million to do that. Stephen was even quoted saying the same thing. The only person who likes Carr seems to be you. If not for the enormous cap hit he would have been gone years ago.

It's based on my experience treating these types of injuries with the knowledge he said he pulled bone off. The rest is just a very good professional opinion. My best guess is he pulled the adductor off although it could be another muscle.
