Not looking too much into this information. Coaching staff could be mixing different pieces together and see what gels in practice. Thompson has been on this team long enough to earn practice reps with the first team.
Yea but has he been good enough to earn them. If so we need an upgrade, like now. Dix had been in the league 7 years so you would think hes earned it too

During the vast Adams debates a lot of you folks made arguments that safeties dont matter.

Looks like we are gonna find out arent we?
Uh no. We said that box safeties don't matter. Big difference.

of course MM and Stephen are gonna say that... that's part of due diligence, you'd think they'd be open to media and
saying.... " well, oh yeah we'd love to have him here and we're certainly looking into that " .....?

Under the last bunch of idiots?

Yep. Definitely.

But under this regime? No.

Just one more thing being done far better. Add it to a long list.

Mickey said that the first teamsteam so far has most mostly been Xavier Woods and Darian Thompson.

HaHa is healthy but running second team right now.

My God!!!! If Ha ha cant even beat out the horrid Thompson then just cut him already. Thompson couldn't even beat out the horrid Heath.

They have to be negotiating with Thomas as we speak of this is the case. If we don't, this could be the worst secondary in the NFL.

I wouldn't be surprised if team tells us that they are " experimenting " with others as starters, so
they can be better prepared for emergency situations, etc.

Tried to warn people that a vet signing a cheap 1 year deal On his 4th team in 4 years was a big red warning sign...

Stephen Jones is/was a part of both regimes.
If there actually contract indulges with Earl Thomas camp, we likely wont know.. until after it happens..

how about not read into what goes on in practice because maybe the other safetys need more work and a coaches want more of look at them vs Haha who may have the job locked up.. we wont know until they trot out game one..

btw anything that happened last year doesnt count this years, all players get fresh start in different scheme..

He's the only "starter" not starting on defense. For a special teams guy. Every day.

That's notable.

WE BEEN "OK WITH OUR GUYS" at safety running on 15 plus years lol. Barry Church being the best of the lot and he was undrafted. Nuff said.

and yes Darian Thompson is purely a ST guy...not in ANYWAY shape or form, a starting caliber safety.I think we can all safely admit this fact.So maybe I can give the team a Mulligan if they should roll the dice on ET and sign him. I get it. I'm just very leery of him as of late.

Wilson or we shift over a corner. Of course, that decision would need to be made soon.
Yeah, there is that too. I hope Awuzie’s injury isn’t serious from today... that would put the brakes on moving a corner inside to safety.

MM claimed the staff was "very confident" in their current roster in denying Earl Thomas.

Evidently, they're okay with their safety spot at this time. Let's see if it stays that way. o_O
I'm beginning to think Earl is somewhat of an head case. Don't know if it immaturity or anger issues. Or Both but, you cant let that spill over.

I do know that McCarthy was an advocate for Biadasz, which can’t hurt his chances. Mike loved him at Wisconsin and watched him a lot there.

If he hits, that’ll be huge for the future of the OL.

Please give us a link with a direct quote of McCarthy saying he did anything to get Biadasz here. There's a difference between him saying he liked the pick and him having anything to do with making that pick. Tell me did McCarthy studied all the players at Wisconsin of just Biadasz?

Desperate signings this time of year rarely pan out. Thats my worry with ET. Means we never addressed the position properly. That said, throw the kid Donovan Wilson into the starting lineup. WTH do we have to lose? Time to take his training wheels off.

Please show me where I said that Mike did anything to get him here.

McCarthy said around the draft that he watched Tyler closely at Wisconsin and that he liked him. I didn’t say that he had anything to do with Dallas picking Biadasz, although he might have. Dallas has listened closely to what Mike has wanted.

What I was saying is that McCarthy liked him and wanted him drafted and that it wouldn’t hurt his chances at winning a starting job. That’s it. You’re the only one who seemed to interpret what I said in that way.

Way to jump right to open hostility when I wasn’t saying what you thought or even talking to you.

HaHa was a poor choice at Safety from the jump.. dude don't want to tackle. Thompson will actually hit somebody, which, makes him better in the game of football.

Think McClay needs to bring in a guy who can help this secondary.
