Clippers owner Donald Sterling tells girlfriend to not bring African-Americans to his games

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling tells his girlfriend, V. Stiviano, that he doesn't want her posting pictures of minorities or bringing African-Americans to his games, according to explosive audio obtained by TMZ Sports.

This includes NBA legend Magic Johnson, whom Stiviano was seen with in a photo on Instagram, which infuriated Sterling. Magic told TMZ Sports, "It's a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans."

There's still a few left out there...sadly.
That goes for all races,btw.

On a side note, I wonder if she's with him out of true love. I'm sure they have a lot in common...

It's sad how the sickest people in this world are the most powerful. Old racist zillionaires and bimbo gold diggers.

LOL! Back peddle and get get caught with your pants down much Don?

Maybe we should see exactly what happened here.

Pro basketball team owners usually aren't the first people you would think of to have serious problems with African-Americans. If I had to bet, I'd put odds more on a Nascar team owner than an NBA team owner....and even then it'd be very rare in this era.
Of course, maybe he's the exception.

Much ado over nothing. He gives millions each year to minorities.

Nothing? If he actually said these things, that is something. I have no idea if he did say them. I have doubts about the story. If he can prove he didn't say these things I would support him suing TMZ. That group needs to go away.

It makes no sense that he says "we don't know if this is true." *** does that mean? You know what came out of your mouth. Either you said it or you didn't. What is this grey area of "uhhh, I don't know."?

I agree with you, but this is America. The man has a right to his opinion.

Sure, an if it is true players and coaches can boycott his team. It's not an opinion that you shrug off. It's not an opinion you can have when you represent a league that employs a majority of African Americans.

LOL @ questioning the authenticity of the tape.

Get this guy out of the NBA. There is no place for this garbage in the NBA OR in the world.

Can't believe that audio - this guy should be pushed out of the league, and fast.

Marge Schott(owner of the Reds) got pushed out for having **** paraphernalia, among other things. Freedom of speech is one thing but an NBA owner is a 24/7 (public)job........ no matter what, when and where he says stupid things.

Evidently, this isn't his first run in regarding ethnics either from what I have read/heard.

Freedom of speech only protects one from government censorship, not action from a private actor.

He can absolutely be pushed out for this. And you're right - he's made racist remarks in the past and has generally been deplorable towards players and other people in the Clippers organization.

After reading that statement, obviously written by a lawyer. My first thought is there is no direct denial that Sterling said these things. Just that they don't "reflect his views." My second thought, is although this defendant in an unrelated case may have a vendetta against him, this doesn't call into question the authenticity of he recording. Maybe the defendant knee they could get away with this because he's always saying racist statements. If I have a problem with someone, and they're a racist, the fact that I'm biased against them doesn't change the fact they're a racist.

Maybe he wants to claim he was under the influence of medication (he's old so it's possible), and didn't know what was coming out of his mouth. Regardless, that statesman clearly didn't deny the voice is Sterling.
