Resign Osa, and then Jourdan Lewis

You make a fair point, but I think a lot of the anger towards Jerry is his talk of being “all in” and then doing practically nothing to improve the team in the offseason, despite losing key role players.
And then try to placate the fans by giving a lot of crap answers, which in the process only served to insult the fans’ intelligence.
Just wait, this off season could be significantly worse with 27 Free Agents.

yeah the Jethro Minions will never leave. Chugging down the Koolaide every year
Real fans go with the team. No kool aide drinking. Just know it is not good to whine over a sport for entertainment.
Watch, win or lose, live a good life otherwise.

I will watch at noon CST on Sunday. Win or lose, Jerry comments or not. I will have the rest of Sunday to do what I want, which is to have fun in some way.
What good will it do to complain about it all. But fans express their own way about it all. That is entertainment in itself.

27 FA's is about what it is every year give or take 5. It will be no different. However, a great draft can make a difference. And that we do not know about yet. Though many will say they know already.

Actually 25 may be good, clean more house that way. Is that not what the fans want? Rebuild? however, top QB will not be included. When it needs to be if they really want to build for the future. What fans want.

They beat a couple of bad teams and a couple of mediocre ones and suddenly they are automatically winning the last two against playoff teams.

Let’s see what happens.
We already know what’s going to happen. Wash, rinse…repeat. Anything else is fool’s gold.

JJ loved that we were “hanging around the rim” after last season. In his view— we are “competing” and “finishing strong” this season.

There are those that claim he is just about the $$$ and is intentionally uninterested in putting a winning team out there and that he is indifferent to their performance.

I am afraid the malady is far more severe than greed, indifference, and being cheap. I think he ACTUALLY believes the fantasy that we are good enough to win the superbowl each and every year.

I think every year he literally talks himself into viewing his rosters as being capable and competent of getting the job done. I think he truly believes in the tripe he puts out there in the media.

Every player will play to his potential. Every second year player will develop. Every bargain bin player they take a flyer on will work out, etc….

It is terrifying to watch him point at this team now and convince himself that everything is rainbows and unicorns on the good ship lollipop. He is most certainly preparing to run it back and sell this season’s struggles as an anomaly and injury-plagued fiasco.

He has gone to the store and come back with all the lipstick he can find for his pig.

He will start selling 2025 the moment 2024 ends by “rallying” around extending Big Mike and hyping up how this roster “fought” and “competed” to the end.

It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so tragic.
Great post Hawk. It’s hard to believe how blind Jerry is to what he really is as a GM - an embarrassment. He studies no film (by his own admission), does not have a good handle on how to make the salary cap work in roster building, has a marketing and sales vision of the GM chair instead of an eagle eye for how to build a roster capable of winning playoff games.

I became aware sometime in around 2006 that Jerry Jones would NOT do ”whatever it takes” to win a championship. Because it has become as obvious as the sun in the sky that he is not capable of building a roster that can even make it to a conference championship game.

That’s when I began to lose respect for Jerry. It became obvious that he would rather stay the centerpiece of the team and not be competitive in the playoffs than step aside and let someone better lead the organization, even if it meant winning a championship.

I‘ve never seen a billionaire with so much success in business, be so insecure that he cannot allow someone else to be GM. Yes, as you said, it is tragic.

They are underdogs this week and will be in the final week unless Washington can’t improve playoff position and Quinn decides to help McCarthy out and take a bye week.

Since they are division games where any crazy thing can happen, I expect they will split, and Jerry will prance around and be “proud” and boast over what a great job he is doing.

I’m really beginning to think he doesnt do it to sell the product, it sells itself. He is just that delusional and surrounds himself with those that reinforce it.

As he recently told you, no one is better than him. Next few years ought to be fun.

I don’t, I just poimtmoit the obvious as to why ?

So why do you complain about anything I post? Even of say, about what player I think they should draft or sign.

(coughing loudly) The second person, you, is always your first comment. In English, that is NOT discussive, but intended to insult. Figure it out then... :hammer:

  • QB Dak Prescott
  • WR CeeDee Lamb
  • RG Zack Martin
  • DE Sam Williams
  • DE DeMarcus Lawrence
  • LB DeMarvion Overshown
  • CB Trevon Diggs

With two games remaining, the Cowboys are missing 7 of their starters. That itself, is disabling, and at the same time allowing for 'golden' time on carpet evaluations on quite a few potential laden players. The off season directions are being set now as we watch.

not seen anything from you that would make me think your opinion is worth a bucket of warm spit.

He believes HE is good enough to win the Super Bowl every year. I think Jerry believes he is doing a masterful job putting pieces on the board and if they fail, it is not because of him. It has to be something else. I am sure money is part of it, although I don't think it is the primary factor in his thinking about the Cowboys. EGO is the driving factor for Jerry.
Dunning-Kruger Effect. Jerry doesn’t recognize sports management is one of his ‘blind spots.’ But he could probably sell you your own car.

Detroit has twice the injuries we’ve had. How’s that working for them?

Works both ways. However I am not constantly complaining about anything and everything. So you do have that blue ribbon over me.

Don't believe a minute. Butt, butt, butt, and butt butt...post something for real or provide some football with source. :hammer:

You are part of a tag team, full of crap. That referenced were starters from the off season forward. Clueless.

Here and now, this was for discussion:

Another truly sobering and totally truthful reality check.
