Coach Jerry Jones may keep Elliott out vs Seahawks

The man puts up his own quotes in his new building. I've never seen a bigger ego in my life. He might be the only person on the planet who could be an NFL owner winning Super Bowls and be "miserable".

He's sick.

Quotes he doesn't truly even believe in, perhaps he never did and I was just a young, dumb sap for believing him. He sure doesn't sound like this anymore:

I despise him

I'm starting to get a dislike for the new NFL. Let players play, if they are going to get hurt it is what it is. It's what they do.

No, no, no. We have to protect them. And think of the children. And make sure we wear pink in October.

That's it. Paint whatever picture you need then pretend it's reality.

Jerry Jones. Completely out of the loop of what's going on. He should probably check with Will McClay before doing these interviews.

OK, you're right. I'm sure there is some power struggle being played out in the media over the 10 snaps Zeke will get at Seattle. Wicked hot takes lately...

This thread was every bit as logically tortured as I thought it was going to be when I finally opened it.

It's going to be fun to finally see Elliott on the field, though. Especially if he's playing with Dak some. I imagine Dunbar is out since it's a Thurs game and he just got back on the field, right?

No way. You're right. Jerry probably is just out of the loop. He usually the last to know these things.

IDGIT WTH are you doing?
How dare you trying to talk about DC Football on a great abusive/tortuous website like the Zone?

If I am Garrett and it's my intention to play Zeke and Jerry overruled me. I have my letter of resignation on his desk the next day.

Yeah, right. No chance of you doing that. Resign and you get $0. Get fired and you get the guaranteed contract. When the boss who signs your check wants you to do something, you do it unless you are independently wealthy and don't care about the money.

Finally some red meat for the I-Hate-All-Things-Jerry fan club. They haven't had much to complain about so far this year. Ripping Jerry for neglecting the backup QB position didn't last too long. Stupid Jerry didn't finalize the trade for Lynch and then Moore gets hurt. No one at backup QB except some 4th rd pick who never took a snap from center... Dang, that Dak can play, sure glad Garrett picked Dak. Ripping Jerry for drafting LB Smith in the 2nd didn't gain much traction.

So, the haters jump on something Jerry said but may have been misinterpreted. Well, at least it is something for the haters to sink their teeth into.

Jerry stay the hell away from Jason Garrett and let him do his job. You've seen enough? All I care about is what Garrett and the coaching staff think.

Garrett is independently wealthy

It's like nobody here has ever had a boss with a big mouth who just says whatever occurs to him before.

You just need to hear Jerry talk once to know what his deal is. I have no idea why it seems to be a surprise to people after all these years that the dude pops off a lot. Or why they think it really matters all that much.

Did anyone actually listen to what jerry said this morning on the fan?

First off, this isn't the first rodeo that many of us have been on the Cowboys wagon since they came into existence. I was a College player at the US Air Force Academy, with Ben Martin, who replaced Bill Parcells as the head coach there.

I played, after my first season, at Texas A&I, due to not being pilot qualified, (glasses), and going back to a civilian school.

I have been through four Basics, during my military career, as well as receiving certification and the job of Master Fitness Training while in the Army.

I am well acquainted with the training and conditioning effect to team work...but there is more to the storyline than showing up for game three in the Exhibition Games.

Hola fellow Javelina! I had a sister that went to A&I. I myself graduated from TAMUK ('96-2005) undergraduate and masters. Just wanted to say hello and was excited to hear or see A&I mentioned on here. Also thanks for your service.
