So that’s the only time you fire a coach? When the team quits?
Results be damned. If the players like the coach but he shows limited results, it’s not his fault...... it’s the players’.
Got it.
Jerry probably wishes he knew this a few years ago. He could have save a crap ton in coaching salaries. He could have just gone cheap with coaches just as long as the players thought the coaches were cool dudes.
I'll put money on the things that are run are base packages, and vanilla plays. There no game planning whatsoever
There was bad execution on a lot of offensive plays. Lack of preseason playing time had something to do with it.
What's dumb is fools, who think the coach, has some control over whether a player goes out on the field and makes a mistake. Its human nature...lol
You've had the same damn results for 22 years, how many damn coaches are you firing for same freaking results. You went HOF coach to bum coach(campo) and got the same results
So we’ve gone from running none of their offense to now running their base offense.
LOL
Actually the fool is the one who thinks coaches have no influence on whether a team generally plays consistent football.
Your argument is basically coaches don’t really matter.
So we’ve just had 22 years of dumb players who just make mistakes?
The actual answer is Jerry has done a pretty crappy job of hiring head coaches. Campo, Gailey, Garrett, Phillips...... Parcells was the best of the lot but Jerry plucked him out of retirement.
On game day, they have no control of how a player plays or execute, that's on the player. Fact.
So do coaches matter or not?
More knowledge for you, So what damn position are you putting Tyron smith in so he doesn't hold? Or so a player doesn't blow by him? How about l Collins? How about Heath dropping int? That sounds stupid, stop buying into cliches.

On game day, they have no control of how a player plays or execute, that's on the player. Fact.
So according to You coaches never have blame in players not executing year after year? Who runs the training camp? Who runs the practices? Who decides who plays? In your scenerio coaches could never take any blame then for play on the field since they aren't physically on the field?
Coaches do matter in the management and leadership of a team and scheme. All that other bs is overrated. The execution of the scheme on gameday is on the players.
So do coaches matter or not?
They actually can.
For example, when a LT is getting beat like a turnstile, you change the player or give him more help and make adjustments to play calling to mitigate his weaknesses.
You literally seem to be saying the coach does basically nothing. He calls plays. That’s it.
So every staff we've had has been mediocre? Because the best offenses we've had since Jimmy, has been Garrett's. That's Fact.
