Here are some things Cowherd didn't mention. Dalton while with the Cowboys has had ONE, UNO, a single good game and others like total passing yards of 185, 203, 209, 215 which are just pedestrian at best. How many rushing TD's does Dalton have and how many does Prescott have.

Now comparing two different teams in different years can be done to make the outcome be whatever you want it to be. Example. Daltons 1st 4 years he had one of the best offensive lines in the league just like Prescott's 1st year. Dalton had 3 really good receivers his 1st 4 years with A.J. Green, Sanu and Marvin Jones. Prescott had the receiver that led the league in drops. Dalton's 1st 4 years he threw 63 picks, Prescott threw 36 picks his 1st 4 years and Cowherd says that Dalton is the better passer with 27 more picks. I can make the comparison so lopsided to Prescott so easily.

Washington, San Francisco, Minnesota, New England, Chicago, Denver

Yup, and I think Chicago in particular will. I think Detroit also may pay that kind of money for Dak. They're going to be jettisoning Stafford, and Dak would be excellent for Detroit. So, I'd add them to the mix as well for that. Chicago, as I've mentioned before, is the perfect place for Dak if we can't keep him. They have an excellent defence and have Khalil Mack who makes a difference. Their WRs are excellent such as Alan Robinson. Dak would turn them into superstars like how he's turned Coop and Gallup into superstars. Their running game is pretty good, especially when Cohen is healthy. Oh, and Cordarrelle Patterson is their KR. They've got a TON of cap space. They're my top pick to land Dak if we don't keep him.

In fact, there were MULTIPLE teams drawing interest per SI, including Jets. The Bears were about the trade for him. Even the Colts were exploring a trade. Dalton could have ended up a starter if he was in free agency.

the fact is nobody did....if he was that much in demand and any good, they would have pulled the trigger...Jets went with Darnold, who sucks and Dalton would have been back up to Darnold...Indy went with noodle arm Rivers instead...

Not all but he plays his role in this Dak saga and what its outcome will be.
Dak is toast just my opinion and so far I'm batting 100% in my predictions. Let us see if you and the rest of the Dak supporters can serve up some Pappy Crow come the spring.

P.S.I would hold off warming up the oven just yet.....
batting 100% in alternate universe perhaps....

Another correction. Andy Dalton has an 11 TD-2 INT ratio in the red zone. This is on 25 of 44 attempts.

Dak is 20 for 11, 3 TDs and 1 INT.

It’s not even close at how much a better decision maker and passer that Andy is when defenses are tightened up.
I wish you and Dalton a happy marriage, may he go to another team and you can just follow him. good luck to both of you

oh wow, we giving up huge rushing yards because the defense sucks...well, I would have never guessed that.

so why is defense so bad? is it because Dak had a 32M price tag? can you please let me know who we could have signed and was available that would have made a difference on the DL?

you found the right problem. I give you that....but you are trying to solve it the wrong way....

so again, who could we have signed that we "couldn't" and didn't because of Dak's 32M price tag......

also are you suggesting we have cap money and build a defense through FA?
You still think Dak can be signed for 32M a year when he turned down 35M a year for 5 years? The fact that it was the length of contract that stopped Dak from signing should also give Dak supporters a moment of pause. If he didn't sign 5 years for 35M a year last year, why would he sign 35M for 4 years this year? He might as well of signed last year's contract and not taken any risk, which obviously was and is real. Unless Dak fires his agent, I'm not incredibly hopeful we can sign him for less than 40M a year for 4 years.

I would have been happy if Dak had signed that last contract. I'm not in the "don't pay Dak no matter what camp". But he doesn't sign here for less $40M I don't think. If we don't tag him, we'll sign Dalton before Dak knows if he can get what he wants elsewhere. Maybe he can.

We could play Dak on the tag again at 37.5M. But why would we when we can sign a reasonable QB in Dalton who will cost 30M at most right now and not have to worry about being left dry in 2022.

please read......I said Dak had a 32M price tag this year and the players we signed and asked who did you want signed but couldn't...

you are so hot under the collar that you jumped way ahead...I did say before his price tag is in the 35-40M range...similar to watson....and other top 10 QBs in the NFL market today....

its not a ransom like some put it...because its aligned with the market...its not the highest ever NFL contract like somebody put it...its not 45M per year as some have tried to nudge it up...

and if we end up signing Dalton, then that's a clear sign that we are getting ready to tank. even if we try not to. Dalton was the tank bridge to Burrow and he got dumped. perhaps he is used to that now. he collects a paycheck, helps a team get a top 5 draft pick and he moves on.....

We know the Jone's by now.
When they are sold on a player they give them the Big bucks without any hesitations!
Someone, please say it isn't so?
They are NOT sold on Prescott and the lucky break came when Dak got injured as this cuts through all the BS PR politics and Daks GREED which gives them 2 great outs!
Not even the Jones clan is stupid enough not to take advantage of them.
it is so...

now you can go root for the eagles, who are really your favorite team.

Can I ask where Mr.Prescott was when Cleveland scored time after time?
Why did he start moving the ball once again in the 4th Q?
Same old Dak and another loss by us.....next, please!
can I ask where was the rush defense when clevland had the ball? did the defense make a stop at all in that game?

same old defense and another loss by us...next please

I heard that on his radio show today. He was saying they are basically the same guy if you look at Daltons first 4 seasons in the NFL. Dalton throws a better football. Dak is more athletic. They are both going to get you 8-9 wins a year. So, why pay one guy 40M when you can pay the other half that much and use the saving to build a better team?

most of those games did Defense get 3 turnovers? or did they give up 200 yards or more rushing? come on now

I don't know and I don't care. The past is the past. Lets root for the team going forward and let Dakota get healthy again.

The past is the past, period...leave it alone. As bad as this team seems today, our Cowboys could make some noise, maybe.

That's what we all should do and see what happens, that's all I'm saying.

Oh, don't set up a paper tiger...it hurts my brain. lol

Dak was on pace to pass for almost 6,800 yards while shattering Peyton Manning's NFL season record (5,400) by almost 1,400 passing yards...

...but Andy Dalton is just as good as Dak?

:lmao::laugh::lmao::laugh::lmao:

it took Dalton 8.5 games to surpass Dak's passing yards.....
