Here are some things Cowherd didn't mention. Dalton while with the Cowboys has had ONE, UNO, a single good game and others like total passing yards of 185, 203, 209, 215 which are just pedestrian at best. How many rushing TD's does Dalton have and how many does Prescott have.

Now comparing two different teams in different years can be done to make the outcome be whatever you want it to be. Example. Daltons 1st 4 years he had one of the best offensive lines in the league just like Prescott's 1st year. Dalton had 3 really good receivers his 1st 4 years with A.J. Green, Sanu and Marvin Jones. Prescott had the receiver that led the league in drops. Dalton's 1st 4 years he threw 63 picks, Prescott threw 36 picks his 1st 4 years and Cowherd says that Dalton is the better passer with 27 more picks. I can make the comparison so lopsided to Prescott so easily.

Dalton has been great in Dallas, however I don't know how much leverage we really have because if we don't pay Dak, somebody else most definitely will. I'm glad we signed Dalton on the off-season however, he has been amazing for us.

Cowturd loses all credibility with his love for Carson Wince. He actually said that Wince is better then Aaron Rodgers earlier in the season. Most importantly though, no quarterback can win a Super Bowl without a good defense and offensive weapons. Dan Marino is proof of that.

Yeah because Mike Vick won multiple Super Bowls running into the end zone. And remember that guy Cam Newton rookie of the year broke all kinda rushing and TD record’s.....smh. They are perfect examples of it doesn’t matter how you run the rock as a QB. You gotta be able to sling the ball with accuracy it’s the most important thing. Accuracy. Accuracy. Accuracy. I get you man. Runners run they are called RBs.

I said rumors, its being discussed and i can see validity in the premise..Most qbs are not worth the deals they are getting

cousins , carr , Garoppolo goff, wentz just to name few etc etc all so overpaid for the return..we arent talking 15mil like a rb gets we are talking 38mil+ like Watson got, wow that was worth it LOL

building total Teams through the cap not just 20% toward a QB that rarely pay off..

at some point markets turn down after they peak, i see them peaking now and owners will start saying no because of the available vets coming in cheaper..

Dak is a 11-15 tier QB. He's not franchise and not worth 35-40 million per year. He's still slower than elite at processing the field and his accuracy leaves something to be desired. His first year appears to have been an exception and not indicative of his norm. IMO, he's not worth franchise QB salary and Dalton is just as sufficient (maybe better in terms of accuracy and QB measurables as he was the fifth QB picked in his draft class) for a lower salary. He also seems to be a good Christian and family man. Sign him and draft a future franchise QB.

I have just pointed out statistics whereas you have blamed coaching, the defense, the ball boy, the grounds crew, and God himself for why your precious Dak struggled yet then try and gloat about Dak victories back in 2018.....yet I thought victories were a team effort so then how do you blame Dalton for losses and belittle his victories against teams with losing records? Those are the only teams Dak has been beating so not sure why even bring that up.

Its what I have been saying all along. Dalton is not this teams future, he is the better pure passer and Dak is the better overall player. If I can get Dalton for 3 years 50 mil as opposed to 4 years 150m / 120 guaranteed with Dak and get similar results. I'll roll with Dalton and spend the extra 20mil on defense.
