Where does Dak rank? Not statistically but in fans mind.

Here’s my top 10 QB not in any particular order
Rodgers
Mahomes
Wilson
Brady
Rothleisburger
Brees
Rivers
Allen- most improved in this group
Jackson
Watson

Best of the rest . Again in no particular order.
Goff
Prescott
Carr
Ryan
Tannehill
Mayfield

Up an coming
Tua
Herbert- I really like this guy. He could be the next elite Qb
Burrows

Nope, I just want the team to do well and I don't feel like a bum at QB like Dalton helps that endeavour.

Yep he fits right in with some here
But he does it for a living needing to incite reactions for more viewers . I basically ignore anything he says about the Cowboys much like Stephen A who is the leading Cowboys troll in the media. He doesn’t even hide the fact.

So you don’t have Cousins who was franchised and then released only to sign an 87 million fully guaranteed contract which I believe MIN has extended and given him another 66 million?

Yeah, it’s the same plan as KC, BUF, MIA, BALT, CLE. You know, playoff teams with franchise QBs.
Your struggling with this concept? Oh, and a couple of those teams moved up to get their guy. Some stayed put and got their guy. Just FYI, It happens all the time.

Bruh can you read? Pay Dalton how much for how long? And draft who, where?

I didn’t ask what other teams have done. I’m asking about Dallas

You know I could put him in that next group. But I was looking for best of the rest. Cousins is definitely in the next group but whether he’s best is arguable.

And I’m telling you to do what other teams have done. Cause it works.
Pay Dalton 40 Million a yr on a 3 yr contract. He can be the bridge and eventual back up.
Like these other teams I used as examples they decide who the franchise QB is and where he’s drafted. Some moved up and got their guy. Others stayed put. A rookie QB in the 1st is on a cheap 5 year deal.
Rebuild the defense with the savings.

One big problem with Colins comparison is Dalton isn’t in his prime . He’s not in his first 4 seasons.

Comparing their first 4 seasons I might agree but when you consider now that Dalton will be in his 11th season and start using his last 4 seasons stats they don’t measure up the same. Especially in wins and losses.

Why not pay Dak that bridge contract while drafting another QB. That’s basically what Jimmy suggested.

If he was in his 18th season and he was throwing ducks like Peyton was, I would agree. He’s fine for another 4 years as a bridge QB and eventual back up. He’s only in his 11 season. Still has the arm.
