Collapse or wake-up call?

Probably a collapse as doubt will have definitely crept in. Look at the schedule if they weren’t so good at home there’s a good shot they don’t win another game.

I’m not looking for belief. I’m just pointing out how, in two games on the road against playoff favorites, they’ve been wholly uncompetitive.

I hear ya , but what about the 10 wins ? I know how this works , it's a cowboys loss so a meltdown is in the offering. I just do not move with every wind and get tossed to and FRO. I have a little more steel in my spine than that.

No one wins all of them. Far as I'm concerned it's on to the Miami Dolphins. Don't get a two fer. Forget about this game and get ready for the next

I'm Still Them Boys!!!!!!

why people talk about cowboy fans, cause we have people here saying this team should lose to reset this whole thing or thinking the season is over after a lost. Need a reset of cowboy fans is what I think

The worst thing about a loss like this is nearly half of this board is going to be elated. They finally get to come riding back into the forum, waving their "I told you so" banners and acting like they are football geniuses. The sad thing is, they claim to be Cowboy fans, yet take so much joy in the team losing. But, when the team is winning, most of them act like they're in the witness protection program.
Yes.

Always tough when reality kicks back in and wakes you up from your wet dream.

Neither.

Just a clearer glimpse of who we are.

We had a losing record against the top shelf teams b4 today...and now we're 1-3.

Too easy to predict...lose at Miami, beat the Lions, barely beat the Commodes. Lose first road game in the playoffs.

one team showed up to play Playoff football today, and it was not us.

I now doubt very seriously that we can win enough to get to a SB.

......yet if the Cowboys somehow beat the Bills the narrative would be they are 7-7 so they really didn't beat a winning team.

I see absolutely nothing to be optimistic about after today, in terms of being a legit "contender" for anything but also-ran status. Cowboys will rightfully be a laughingstock for at least the next week, after a humiliating beatdown in Buffalo.

On the bright side: We'll again bask in the relatively respectable-but-minor athletic achievement of perhaps winning 12 games this season, despite being vanquished in the playoffs by a better team.

We got blown out by Arizona.

We got mauled by San Fran.

We got blitzed by Buffalo.

We've played three good teams this year, we beat one at home and got destroyed by two on the road. It's hard not to conclude that this team is much like some of the past ones we thought were really good. They are certainly above average but likely not much of a threat when the pressure ratchets up in January and we have to go on the road for a playoff game.
The one good team they beat at home they always play tough. It's good teams outside of the division where Dak folds and the defense does too.
