Collapse or wake-up call?

How many wake up calls do you get before you're late to work again and holding a pink slip

Didn't say anything about record.

Bills were one of the consesus SuperBowl contenders (along with us, SF, Philly, Cincy (b4 losing QB) , Jets (b4 losing QB), Baltimore, KC and Miami.

We've played 4 of those games (who had their QB). Lost 3....won 1.

Nearly beat Philly twice though...but nevertheless 1-3.

Lions are KINDA in that group now... so we still have a chance to even our record in reg season against elite teams. No more harsh weather games at least
I agree with you. But every team has stinker games like this too. Remember the Lions managed to lose to sub-.500 Green Bay and Chicago.

The Cowboys had far less at stake than the Bills and it didn't help they had so many penalties. And we have no idea what will happen in the playoffs. What I do know is they have two games against contenders coming up now that will give them a chance to right the wrongs of today.

They are an annual playoff team. That is great! But, they are not legit Super Bowl contenders.

So, to answer the OP's question, there won't be a collapse per se. But, there certainly won't be a win in the 2nd round of the playoffs on the road either.

This is such a funny question. As if we haven't all witnessed this exact same scenario play out several times over the past 25 years.

We're cooked. This team, like all the other recent Cowboys teams with a good record, will set the world on fire in the middle of the season and then **** the bed come January. This year is no different.

This team goes as Dak Prescott goes. I know the defense sucked today but what about our MVP? Why didn't we match 30 points?

Dak has to get better on the road and against better defenses.

The worst thing about a loss like this is nearly half of this board is going to be elated. They finally get to come riding back into the forum, waving their "I told you so" banners and acting like they are football geniuses. The sad thing is, they claim to be Cowboy fans, yet take so much joy in the team losing. But, when the team is winning, most of them act like they're in the witness protection program.
Well then they have not had to hide much.

dallas got embarrassed by buffalo so they won’t show up against Miami wouldn’t want to give the bills a shot at the division.

It's not a collapse or total melt down.

It's just a beat down and it shows they aren't ready yet.

I expect to win a couple more and take our usual route to a divisional loss.

let me liken this to t he Admin on this page. REALITY.

This team is not build for big games on the road against good teams, get used to it. Please don't say we played the Iggles well on the road, they are a bigger mess than we are

Who is a legitimate Super Bowl contender in the NFC outside of let’s say SF?

It is scripted, the holding calls tell it all
No excuse for our play today, but yeah those early calls snow balled on us. The hold on Tyler looked pretty trash and the penalty on Dlaw was fairly weak as well. Sam Williams is just an idiot, and has been for awhile now. He's a low IQ player.
