I agree I want the pick now and I am not sure whether we get the pick this year or next but I believe you take into consideration the players value and the offer that player could get if another team makes an offer. The 2nd round tender was placed as bait for a team like Indy.

If Hankins kept himself in shape, Marinelli probably would target him. But if he did that he wouldn't be available.

I am sure they have spent a million hours as a staff evaluating the team. The final decision is not his for sure but I imagine the defensive coordinators opinion played a huge role.
