Lewis either starts or hes gone with that salary.
I can definitely see them cutting him to save $4.5 million against the cap. But if we don't try to re-sign Brown, I think the depth is more important that the savings. We have Diggs, Gilmore and Bland and nothing after that if we don't keep Lewis or Brown. Neither Joseph nor Wright has earned playing time and Goodwin is just a special teammer.

Looks like good news unless I’m missing something

This past season, Gilmore was PFF’s 9th best graded cornerback with a +79.1 overall grade—including a +81.1 coverage grade. Gilmore had at least two game-winning defensive plays for the Colts, having a pair of clinching, pivotal pass breakups late against both the Denver Broncos in Week 5 and later against the Las Vegas Raiders Davante Adams in Week 10.

Unless we get a real dunk at DT in free agency, we're 100% going to select a DT. If Bijan falls to #24 I may consider drafting him, tho. But this DT spot needs to be addressed - fast. Every other position can be procrastinated a little bit.
Cowboys pick at 26 , unless you're the Jaguars.

That is his cap hit (9.9 actually) which includes his $2 million signing bonus that the Colts just ate, so $7.9 salary.

OTC has his cap hit at 11.9 2 dead, so 9.9 salary unless it’s reading funny on mobile

Not sure Dallas will be interested in a corner now in the early rounds. The secondary seems pretty set.

I really like it. He is exactly what we need going into the draft... a guy who won't force us to take a CB early, but won't roadblock a stud prospect for more than one season if we do.

Exactly, and it makes the decision easier to go for a player like Anton Harrison from Oklahoma. He's a nice OT option that allows Tyler to focus on playing guard.
