Dallas was dead last vs the run by a good margin before Hankins was traded for. They ended the year 22nd. Do you know how much better you have to be to make that jump?

Gilmore had at least two game-winning defensive plays for the Colts, having a pair of clinching, pivotal pass breakups late against both the Denver Broncos in Week 5 and later against the Las Vegas Raiders Davante Adams in Week 10.

Nah, you’re not missing anything. He was really good last year.

The year before last he had a bit of a down year because he played on a knee that was giving him trouble.

Then before last year he had his knee cleaned out and being healthy again, was his old pro bowl self.

He'll be 33 in September and that is old in NFL years. Still an excellent move for a solid CB. How long that lasts is another story.
