I'll try to keep an open mind when I see this movie flick.

Maybe I misuse the word canon. My understanding is some characters get re-cast, some don't.

My understanding is about the same to be honest. Jason Gunn has not communicated much both transitioning details that I have paid attention to.

Personally, I would keep Momoa if I were James Gunn. Snyder takes justified or not justified flack as a director but I highly respected his casting agreements during his oversight, even that of major characters like Ray Fisher as Cyborg or minor ones like Laurence Fishburne as Perry White.

Gunn could not ask for a more King of the Seven Seas, DC style, on-screen than what Momoa can deliver in my opinion. One thing is certain. Momoa's Aquaman is the antithesis of that goofball Super Friends nonsense.

Normally, I would only pick Bautista out of those but I am not certain his Drax the Destroyer would not bleed over into his The Main Man performance.

There is no other choice for Lobo, Momoa rolls out of bed being more "Lobo" than any other choice could be. Even as Aquaman, he still looks like Lobo. Any other choice would be a step down.

It was pretty funny, especially the prison scene.

I guess there are gonna be those type comedy oriented super hero movies such as Hancock, Shazam, Blue Beetle
Teenage Ninja Turtles, Kick-***, Inspector Gadget, etc. that present a different format and approach,
it's meant to be comedy driven, and viewers will have to take it with comic relief and grain of salt.
It's not for everyone.

This week's episode of Ahsoka from my reminiscing point of view:

Trivia: The young Ahsoka Tano actress may look familiar. Think Avengers Infinity War. She also played young Gamora.

It's a no brainer. Hope they get it done. Certain actors that were just meant to be cast in a role, and it's awesome when it happens.

The other one for me was several years back for Marvel. Kelsey Grammar as Beast. Or at least how I interpreted the character. Shame he was too old already to keep carrying the role.

I'm tempted to say Ryan Ryans as Deadpool too. Only physical need for that character is an in-shape actor, but that sense of humor is hard to pull off, and he does it perfectly.
