some of you folks know me....and that I'm not a flamer around here.
But to let the guy who started this thread be your voice on those teams (I know he's not) is flat out embarassing. Hiero or Heiro or whatever. I know you WANT the Skins to be awful. But they aren't this year.
I'm not going to say they're better than a 8-8 or maybe a 9-7 team. But the way the NFC east is playing. Everybody and Nobody is.....all at the same time.
I was at the 49er game yesterday...and yes, they are THAT BAD! I was happy with the blowout. I was happy to be wrong about Brunell this season. If the NFL has a comeback player of the year award. It should go to him for the 1st half of the season. He's shut a lot of us haters up. Lets not pretend the 49ers with Rattay against you guys was like having Peyton Manning out there. They scored on ya.
I still have issue with the playcalling when Portis and Betts are in.
However, we're scoring points now, at home and on the road after a rough 1st two weeks.
I think this is just year two in a 5 year plan for Joe Gibbs.
Every team in the division has their strong and weak points. Right now, I'd be happy with a division title or a wildcard. Its all cool to me right now.
But, want to see the improvement every week.
Next week in NYC. I think we can score on them....and them on us. It might come down to turnovers.
After a bunch of "lucky" wins. They really aren't called luck anymore.
One tuck rule in Denver, one crazy bounce on a fumble in KC...and things could look different. We've had our BAD LUCK also this year.
I have been more impressed with the Skins' Offense, than the defense.
I think people are forgetting a few things about our Cowboy team.
We've played the last two and a half games without Julius Jones. He will add a new dimension to our offense.
At the beginning of the year, our defense was still feeling it's way. We're so young on defense, and we are still learning a new scheme.
I don't think we've even come close to seeing how powerful our defense will be.
We've played the number one offense in the NFL three weeks in a row, and dominated them.....Philly, NYGiants, and Seattle.
Imagine what will happen when the defensive scheme becomes second-nature.
