Maybe so... that will be good since their offense won't be on the field too much and the defense will need some serious stamina.
I don't think the Skins are finished adding to the offense.

But we'll see.

Yeah... I wouldn't doubt them trying to get one of the WRs available that are listed over 6' tall.

They do it by having zero quality depth. It looks like a shiny new toy at the beginning of the season, but implodes as startes go down.

This is especially true of their offensive line. Be worried if they get an infusion of quality youth there. Everywhere else they seem to be able to make it happen with mirrors, but nothing can cover up a lack of quality line play. That collapse they experienced during the second half of last season tied directly into them starting to hurt there.

Unfortunately, that sounds a bit too familiar....

At least they are doing something that seems like it is improving there team and not sitting on there hands and checkbook thinking that because of injuries we didnt make it last year.

But of course, around these parts, no matter what the Commanders do, its a terrible, terrible move.

Dockery played very well for us before he left for buffalo. He had great chemistry with samuels and rabach, and is an improvement over old *** kendall, who now will serve a better role as a backup. On top of that, we got him for relatively cheap, and he took less money to come to washington, after detroit offered him more. I like this move. Any move that actually improves our o-line is a good move.

If only Jerry knew how to make cap room like Dan Snyder...............

Not that we can talk we haven't won a playoff game in years, but last time I checked the Skins haven't exactly been tearing it up with this spending like drunken sailors mentality...

Awesome.

I wish they would sign ray lewis too.
I know you don't like him. but without including money who would be better at ILB for us than Ray Lewis?

Yeah, pretty much. We may not have won a playoff game since 1996, but they haven't won the NFC East since 1999. The lone team in the division to not win it this decade. :laugh1:

I won't criticize this move.

Dockery is a decent player and they got him for a decent price.

Everyone knew the Bills gave him a crazy deal and he would have been crazy not to take it.

Now they have to figure out what they want to do at RT.

They are doing well I must say....can't argue with any signing and if 2010 is uncapped they are geniuses because they can write off so much of Albert and Hall's money and then in 2011 when there is a cap it will be normal 8mil per year which will be cheaper than any studs out there will be getting.

Absolutely. RT is our biggest weakness. Jansen just cant cut it, and Heyer is unproven.

We need to draft OT with our first pick, and I'm wondering if vinny will gamble on picking up andre smith, since it looks like he'll be falling. I also wouldnt mind taking oher or monroe, though I can almost guarantee monroe will be gone. Orakpo would be a nice replacement for a combo DE/OLB, but I doubt he will be available also.

13th. Mcshay's most recent mock has us taking Oher. Although, a million mock drafts say a million different things.

Would you want to roll the dice on Smith?

Heck of a gamble on a first round pick!

Loadholt might be a safer pick in Round 2.
