thats only credit to portis as being a good back but you know that offense doesnt fit his style play.

gibbs plays more of a pounding style and thats why betts thrived when he took over.

portis is a great back im giving him his props but joe still doesn 't play to his strengths thats all im saying, and even portis comes out complaining every year under joe gibbs.

Its like tiki barber hated playing for coughlin but he still produced because tiki was a good back

any team that gives the skins a 2nd for portis is crazy.

Running backs can be had in the draft. This is a horrible time in the nfl to be a running back. They are constantly being replaced! Salary cap has really hurt that position.

I hope no one bails the skins out. I hope they take jammal anderson and he is a stiff and they have no more picks till sunday.

Funny thing is that the Skins are indeed looking for draft picks.

If I remember correctly, after the 1st round, their next pick is in Round 5.

In any case, it's something bizarre like that.

Could you imagine if JJ had done that to this franchise? Hard core fans would be going nuts.

But my best guess would be that the Skins instead trade down a few spots and acquire picks. They have so many holes to fill in any case . . . .

It's been better with Ireland on board. We took QC in the 2nd for a reason, Galloway was a bust, EE was a reach, glad we passed on Moss.......
