I think we've used every excuse possible for losing big games.
All the reasons imaginable.

But we're constantly out prepared and flat out coached.

Sooner or later we'll hire a real HC, because any yes man for Jerry cannot be a strong enough leader of men.
It's that simple

I never said it was all daks fault for teams bad performance. Why are you demanding i prove something i never said?

Because your dak derangement syndrom leaves you insane, thats why.
Don't open your Dak blame mouth unless you've got video proof. It would help you from looking so foolish.

One thing that

Why is it that no one brings up the fact that Dallas is the most penalized team in the nfl. They have been for the last 3 years. Might that have a little something to do with it?They had chances to get back in the game then comes the freaking penalties at rhe worst times.
100%!

Our drives early in the game were stalled due to bad penalties. THAT is what hurt our Offense the most. Ironic how the Dak haters never bring that up.

Dak overthrew Cooks deep early in the game. Yes, that was on Dak likely do to his adrenaline being too high so early in the game. He has done that in several games before settling down. As for his 4 bad throws, (which 3 could have been intercepted) they were forced because our receivers were not getting open all game long. Dak had to try to make something happen. Even the announcers kept saying how our receivers were struggling to get open all game long. Then add the fact how Dak was constantly under pressure since our Oline struggled badly to pass protect, well, that's why I say...how can anyone blame Dak for a bad performance when he wasn't getting any help from his teammates all game long? Now, if his Oline was giving Dak good protection and his receivers were getting open while Dak was simply not plating well, then absolutely blame Dak for such a bad performance, but that is not what happened against the Bills.
Adrenaline was too high? That's a new take (and a new excuse). Think I will go to work and screw off half the day. When my boss gets mad at me I will tell him "sorry man, my adrenaline was too high". Think that will get me off the hook?

  1. The 3 play extending penalties at the start of the game set the tone for the rest of the game. We beat ourselves as much as the Bills did. We HAVE to do something about the penalties.
I would love for someone to explain to me what anyone is supposed to about the DLaw penalty.

Don't rush the passer?

Why are you trying to circumvent the la guage filter? Why you mad?

More importantly....why are you asking me to prove something i never said?

What i did say....is your reply i responded to you blamed everyone but dak. Proof? Go back and read it again.

Not replying to any more of your pathetic nonsense.

Point me to a team that hasn't played badly at some point this season, or hasn't lost a game this season, or has no issues within their coaching or 53 man roster this season. You can't because there isn't one. Not every defeat is a history lesson, it's just a defeat. Sometimes, a team plays really well and has a great gameplan and no injuries but still loses, its not definitive.
I never said other teams dont have games like that. So not gonna bother with your demand.

Yeah, compare 1 overthrow to screwing up half of your day of work. Nice job trying to hide your Dak hatred. Go follow another team while you're at it since Dak is not going anywhere anytime soon, nor should he.

Come on now, Dak had some really bad throws and the 1 INT. He's not entirely free of any blame.

I will agree with the 'under pressure' part, though. There were many times it looked like the o'line just stood up and let the defense run right past them. They were god awful. Overall, though, the entire team sucked butt, including Dak.
The INT was in garbage time.

Dak "looked bad" because our receivers struggled to get open all game long, plus our Oline was horrible in pass protection all game long. Dak was under pressure all game long. There were few pass plays where Dak was not under pressure. Substitute Amy other QB of liking with Dak during the Bills game, they would have "looked bad" and struggled as well for the very same reasons I just stated.
well, the right side of the line was in trouble after Martin went down. we know Steele's struggles all year, but Bass, UDFA, rookie was overwhelmed. the right side continuously collapsed. it also affected Biadasz as he relies a lot on Martin and he just didn't have the same chemistry with Bass. the running game started to struggle as defenders were often in the backfield at hand off and Dak was pressured quickly, which didn't allow any routes to develop. essentially, they packed the short area, expecting not to give Dak a lot of time to throw, they kep one saftey deep just in case.

How does this happen?
We basically dominated the Eagles last week, and the Eagles played Buffalo a couple weeks before and beat them! Physically you would think we would match up well vs Buffalo. The Eagles have arguably the best O line in football and our D line and backers played them well, but the Bills dominated the LOS on O and ran all over us. Why? Watching the replay, some of it had to do with our guys not playing their responsibility. As Belicheat once said, “do your job”. Our guys were not doing their individual job.

The QB sneak was telling: Allen gained at least 2 yards each time he tried it, while Dak dropped back to pass on 4th and 1 foot and got sacked! What is so dam complicated about the Tush Push. The key? Get off the ball quickly!!, then the O lineman get their head inches from the ground and drive their legs with their butts up. Don’t allow penetration. There is a slight slow down then the line starts moving bodies. We have 2 big powerful quards also. The push from behind helps too. Dak is just as big as Hurts and Allen. He should be really good at it.

Our O line blocked well for the run early in the game, but they seemed confused by the Bills stunts and Blitz’s when pass blocking. They seemed overmatched at times. They played Philly’s D line much better. Why? The Bills constantly had 6-7 guys at the LOS. The confused our guys more so than physically dominating them.

Dak was confused most of the night. They mixed coverages from snap to snap. Dak was getting our guys drilled constantly. CD was getting punished!

They had 3 long drives that continued because of Personnel Fouls! Lawrence and Smith made idiotic plays!!

Why do we EVER try to block a punt. The risk reward is NOT worth it. It is WAY harder to block a punt, than it is to run into the punter. Also, we have an excellent return man who is forced to call fair catches ALL the time because we can’t block the gunners with 1 guy! We need 2 guys on each gunner. Give Turpin a little room and he will make something happen.

It was inexcusable McCarthy did not throw the red flag on the fumble. Can’t a defensive player call timeout?

The defensive player who decked Dak the second time was laughing about it going back to the sideline.

Not specifically talking about this game but, NFL officiating is terrible. EVERYTHING should be reviewable!

Minor: If we struggle so bad when another team gets the lead, how come we didn’t take the ball first. Also, we knew the rain was coming we should have took the ball first.

This was a typical late season reality check. I am worried about Miami. They have a very smart coaching staff that can exploit the weaknesses we just demonstrated vs Buffalo.

We will need to run the ball to keep or D as fresh as possible.
All good observations and I think a lot of us feel similiarly.

-It all starts with coaching. The Bills kept doing the same thing and had a game plan to pound the rock. The Cowboys never adjusted defensively and just gave up in the 2nd half. On the other side the Cowboys didn't commit to the run that was working early and didn't adapt to quick throws and plays that slow down the pass rush.
-The Cowboys and Bills don't play often and the Cowboys are probably much more familiar with the teams tendency and players in their division. This is why division games aren't always easy and also why an out of the division foe may take you by surprise.
-I wonder how much having players with the stomach bug impacted the physical nature of their play. Illness like that impact everyone differently and not everyone can play threw it. I'm sure many of us would have spent the day in bed.
-The weather got nasty in the 2nd half, that's not a recipe for success throwing the ball or trying to play catchup.

he is not free of blame. he played bad. the OL played bad. the WRs played bad. the coaches scheme was bad, they got out coached. that's on both sides of the ball. you give up 200+ yards of rushing, your defense is got owned. and no, not just because of playing too much. the very first drive, the ran through us like hot butter through knife. they rushed for 50 yards on that first drive, so the they were tired excuse doesn't apply

There is 1 constant that has been in play for the last 8 seasons.
One player who under his leadership our team come playoff time cannot score enough points to take us further down the glory road.
The 2 SF games and regular season games vs teams with winning records/defenses continue to prove and verify the above.
Nothing changes till this bad apple is thrown in the garbage and ya he will like it as he loves garbage stats.
Now Jerry give this player a 60 million $ deal so our 28 years can become 35.
I am with you man. how many tackles did Dak miss. you expect an 8th year player to be able to tackle properly. if he tackled better, we wouldn't give up 260+ yards rushing. Dak has to be better at tackling.

we did get out coached. Quinn went with speed and sacrificed size. a 205lb saftey is not going to be able to win too many battles against a 320lb guard. Quinn never adjusted. never dared them to throw. he played the same defense all game.
and there are no excuses for poor tackling at this point of the season. too many way too many missed tackles

Well stated. You're correct. The right side of our Oline was bad and affected Dak's and our receivers' ability to develop plays all game long. I've been saying for the past 4+ years that our Oline is not good and needs some serious draft replacemnts, along with better coaching. Our Oline affects our Offense's ability to make plays happen or keep drives alive. That's not including the so many times our Oline commits drive-killing penalties. It's mind boggling how one hardly hears any bashing against our Oline the way we hear against our QB.

well QBs are always a target. make the most money, naturally hated and blamed.

but I am surprised at this OL as well. as good as we think they are, they tend to get overwhelmed and out physicalled. we don't seem to be able to dominate the LOS and push the DL. specially with Smith, Smith, Martin all being strong dominant OLmen. I know Steele has struggled all year, he has next to zero lateral movement. he still has functional strength and if he gets his hands on a defender, he can control them some, but if he doesn't and they run right past him, he has trouble adjusting.

and we also drafted a blocking TE and yet, don't use him much. haven't seen that much two TE sets, both of whom can go in route and catch, which would press the defense to either choose to defend the run or choose to defend the pass and we can adjust based on their personnel and alignment.

The coaches were more unprepared than the players I think. Not paying attention to the game and not challenging that fumble was inexcusable. Our coaches (both O and D!!!) were as confused as the players. Not good. Not good at all.
