FEATURED Conference Championship Game Thread

I think mid to late first round is a great place to draft a RB, especially if you have a coherent plan for the rest of your offense.

I wanted Gibbs so badly in the draft. I was furious when DET grabbed him so early.
The draft predictors had him dropping into the 2nd round so I thought we had a chance.

Wow, the Lions stadium is full of Lions fans watching on the big screen. Have not seen a team do that recently? Have y'all?

I thought that happend with Laporta, we never had a shot on Gibbs

still very early
Not necessarily about the timing within the game, more about fandom hope. This is that point of no return in my eyes. If the Lions had come out and gotten blown out, everybody would be happy just to have gotten here. But since they have now given hope to win.. the loss would now be worst to not seal the deal.

Purdy hasn't looked very Purdy in the playoffs. That's what happens when you're not the reason your team has won enough games to get you to this position. The 49ers are here because of their running game, and defense not QB play. It remains to be seen if there weak link Purdy cost them a chance to go to the Super Bowl, or even win it.
Yup, gonna be interesting to see what they do about his contract when it's up

The guy with the worst show boating is Fred warner.....he's always talking crap to the opposing players......so nice to see him get embarrassed there by Gibbs

Rematch from Week 1 KC vs Detroit in the freaking Super Bowl perhaps. Detroit won by 1 point in KC, but no Kelce.
