He was injured it happens that does not mean a player lacks toughness. I have no issue saying he has underachieved regardless if it is injury related or not. If your not on the field your not helping the team. Having said that until you walk in his shoes to claim he is not tough enough You go play CB with a shoulder that required surgery and see how tough you are.

Didn't seem to stop the Jenkins bashers a few years ago..If I recall correctly a CB with a bum shoulder is damaged goods, I wonder why folks are singing a different tune now for Claiborne

Stephen called him out his first two years in the league. I guess Stephen should have tried to play corner at age 48 before he did that.

Who has overhyped Mo? I don't recall seeing anybody pumping him up.

Maybe he's referring to when Claiborne was first drafted. Lots of people loved the pick, but surprisingly there were alot more who hated it. His lack of good health over the years hasn't helped him with those guys.

Sure they were, in nickle anyway.

True, however in those situation Claiborne would line up outside with Scandrick lining up inside. I think it falls to Claiborne to win that starting role back. Scandrick is going to be out and it is up to Claiborne to take advantage of the situation

Yet how quickly some downplayed Claiborne's porous Wonderlic score to an extreme level. Yeah, we know that if you score really well on it that you're not guaranteed a spot in Canton and if you do really bad on it you're doomed as a player. However, I think we can all agree that scoring low on it is a definite red flag and shouldn't be brushed off as inconsequential.

It was reported that the cowboys did not even interview Claiborne before trading up to take him, using their top 2 picks

Think about our talent evaluation process if that is true

Going from man to Tampa 2 last year didn't help. Our CB's are better suited for man vs zone coverage. I like to go back to our road game vs Philly last year. We played a lot of man and we shut them down.

As far as Mo goes, I have been a big supporter of his. I think he's a decent cover corner. I feel he should be more of a FS though. My concern with him is his durability. Is his injury legit or is he just trying to skim through all preseason functions?

Whatever the case, he needs to have a good year. I'll be pulling for him.

Sorry I didn't realize we were possibly going back to 2012.

I like him better outside anyway.

I guess you don't remember draft day 2012? Mo was hyped up big time. Mo and Carr even came up with a nickname for them called the No Fly Zone.

They are extremely overrated. But that's what happens when you pay the 3rd best DB on the Chiefs big time money. There was a reason the Chiefs wanted no part of Carr moving forward. I see why now.

I would say they were underrated, actually. Their play (outside from a few games last year) has not been as bad as many make it out to be here. Carr started off the season very sold last year. Of course a CB is not going to be able to hold down the whole secondary when you have no rush, no LB, and horrible safety plat.

Claiborne is one of the most physically gifted corners that I have ever seen.

If this guy busts then his db coach should lose his job as well.

No way should he have evolved into the player he has turned into.

That video ends at 4:26. Did they edit it? I didn't hear anything about Claiborne in the video.

No idea.. I kept looking, but I didn't see any other snippets. Weird seeing as he's quoted in multiple articles about it.
