Not even dreaded Iggles fans rooted against Foles or let their love for Wince stop them from being happy that they won the Superbowl last season. With some Cowboys fans, I believe their inability to let go of Romo and/or their hatred for Dak will put their resentment close to the level of Cowboys haters, if we ever won a Superbowl with Dak.

But, Eagles,Giants,Skins, and Cowboy hating fans will get more of a pass for hating to see the Cowboys win a Superbowl, since they are suppose to feel that way. Cowboys fans who let their dislike of a player/QB get in the way of enjoying any type of playoff/Superboel success. Not so much.

It’s the Romo lovers that still haven’t let go that are starting these threads. Romo was released and put into retirement and they blame Dak. I still firmly believe there’s many on this board that would rather lose with Romo and his yards, TDs, high passer ratings and I’ll-timed turnovers than win with Dak.

I didn't say ESPN was punishing him, I said the stat punishes him for those first 3 games, as it should. Dak sucked over the first three games. ESPN's just showing you the full season rating, as they should in a list labeled "season."

ESPN's stat also shows that he's 16th in the last 12 games, as it should. Traditional passer rating shows that he's 11th, as it should. That's how Dak has performed relative to the rest of the league over the last 12 games.

Most people who look at those first three games would conclude that they didn't end up telling us a whole lot about the next 12. Maybe you guys see something there that does, and would like to share.

Dak, if he plays his cards correctly, could be an acceptable 2-string QB for any NFL team.
But If Jerry rewards him with a mega contract, we'll be in a world of cap hurt and 3-4 years of fan revolt will test Jerry to the limit.
Pay him commensurate with a 20th player, not like a Bree or Mahomes or Mayfield in ye future. To do the latter, mateys, would be Jerry's waterloo.
If we want Dak's production, just go to White for the long term.

Dak has his warts, however we as fans have no choice but to hope he goes on a run. He's capable of that, hes given us flashes of promise.

Hes young and can still develop. Also, hes a hell of a leader and he's proven to have ice in his veins. The guy somehow defies the odds and despite any prior mistakes hes a gamer when it counts.

Yes I support our quarterback. No Im not blind. I am capable of having my doubts, but I wont let that rob me of believing in him either. Theres enough tape out there to show us he can play.

He may never develop into the qb we are hoping for, but with lack of any other option Im riding with him and cheering him on.

Yes, he is our QB for now and we have to pull for him to go on a run.
But where you and I part in this valle of doubt is having him long-term at cap hell.
He is not our guy, at least from what I've seen in 2 years.
