You will be missed, Coop.
Everyone will understand once the season starts and CeeDee, Noah Brown, and James Washington are our Week 1 starters.

He had arguably his best years here lol….what else did he need lol?He was the RKG. Too bad he didn’t have the players around him to get the most out of him.
I think it’s just a situation where I’m like I like the guy and had no problem bringing him back but why be upset over his departure? I can’t get upset at this group for getting rid of guys who got kicked out of the first round. We’ve been so accustom to this team just bringing the same guys back every year we don’t realize how toxic it is.I don't think I've read any hate posts about him. Doesn't necessarily mean there are none.
He gets paid top dollar to do those things. That’s logic. I already said he didn’t have emotion which is actually a big part of football. And that lack of emotion was a problem. It’s apparently much easier to just blame Prescott. You could spin it however you want. Maybe brag about his route running a little more!?
knowing your assignment and actually having emotion and a will to win are 2 very different things. Top 5 route runner?? lol this is all people got when the stats aren’t there.
His energy and passion could only be rivaled by Michael Irvin.
Or maybe Wane McGarity.

jazzcat22 - the very same thought entered my head when I saw that name! There is a name from that past. Forgot all about him. I guess there is a reason why.
Right.
I think some wanted him to be like and Irvin or Dez on the sidelines. Only to complain when he was being "passionate" but say he was a trouble maker.

Nope...............its about not needing to spend 22 million on Cooper when you have Lamb on a rookie deal. Allocation of resources.
Gallup for 12 and Shultz for 10= 22 for Cooper.
Easy choice. Take Gallup and Shultz. Especially when you have Lamb already the #1.
To me this is quintessential Coop. Kind of non-descript, a little disinterested, some love mixed with “oh well.”
That's pretty much where I'm at. Good player, but did he really help the team that much, or did we just get overly excited when he made a play?I think it’s just a situation where I’m like I like the guy and had no problem bringing him back but why be upset over his departure? Right. He’d underachieve with the rest of the team. Hell they could’ve got rid of more guys for all I care. I don’t know if this will work in the long run but I do believe it’s the right decision by the front office. And I’m sure Coop will have great games in Cleveland and people will rue the decision of us getting rid of him. But it was the right move and very Un-Dallas like. That's pretty much where I'm at. Good player, but did he really help the team that much, or did we just get overly excited when he made a play?
