Ok so

Rush QB, Cowboys win: defense won the game

Dak QB, Cowboys win: Dak won the game

Rush QB, Cowboys lose: Rush list the game

Dak QB, Cowboys lose: defense lost the game, Dak has no weapons, the OL gives him no protection

this is so confusing but I think I have it straight now

I see some putting the game on the defense for not being able to stop the Eagles offense after the lead was cut to 20-17, but even if they did and Cooper Rush was able to drive down the team to win with a TD. That still would have showed how a Cooper Rush led offense would be incapable of winning a game in which the defense doesn't hold the opposing offense to 20 points or less. So if it wasn't last night, then there still would have been some point in which the offense with Cooper Rush was going to need to score more than 20 to win some games. Especially if Cooper Rush were to take over the starting job like some believes he should have.

I said before the game that the Cowboys would at least need to score in the mid twenties to win and the Eagles scored 26.

Our defense wasn’t perfect and we committed too many stupid penalties as usual but our lack of offense and the turnovers by Rush cost us the game. Our offense is killing us! We have one of the worst offenses in the league. Hopefully when the Dak returns we can get it on track. We’re not sustaining enough drives and scoring enough points. We played much better in the third quarter but couldn’t get it going in the fourth quarter and the hole we dug for ourselves in the first half made it difficult to come back.

so scoring 13 points, while defense scores 9 and hold opponent to 10, is Rush winning the game in your book?
and throwing 3 interceptions in the game is also defenses fault? perhaps the opposing defenses fault.

come on dude. was this really necessary

You just argued it wasn't a team game but now its a team game? You just go with whatever side is anti Dak lol.
The only time you'll see me use qb record is when I'm trying to drag people into realizing how stupid using Dak's record is. See my thread about Cooper Rush being 5-0. If you couldn't sense the dripping sarcasm in my responses on that thread then I can't help you.

Near zero probability of winning with 3 INTs vs a good team.

The defense held the Eagles to the 2nd lowest total yards and lowest passing yards of any opponent this season.

The Eagles offense had a short field multiple times. The 85 Bears defense would not win that type of game.
I've been a BIG R-U-S-H supporter so it pains me to say it's back to the woodshed for him. Almost all of his passes were floated and off target to the receivers and TEs, it was painful to watch him!

Cooper Rush didn't fail in the big picture he exceeded everyone's expectations.

Anyone with even a limited football IQ new he was in over his head going into this game.

I said all week that Dak should have started that Cooper Rush was too far over matched in this game to win.
But no Dak said his grip was an A but he wanted it to be an A+.
I think he should have played with the A grip and we would have had a good chance of winning.
Coaching was horrible again and the penalties were worse you cannot expect a backup quarterback who is already in over his head to overcome all those penalties.

Unsportsmanlike conduct penalties blocking in the back complete lack of discipline forcing an already overmatched backup quarterback to try and dip into a bag of tricks that is stone empty.

Look in the mirror Dak you didn't step up hung your teammates out to dry stood on the sideline waiting for your A+ grip while your team got steamrolled.

What..you think Dak made the call? again Jerry jones told you 4 weeks..every other medical pro said 6 to 8..how is this a thing for some of you. The man had a plate and seven screws put in his hand 5 weeks ago..jesus.

Cowboy fans are ungrateful.
Where was this sentiment all this time Cowboys fans have blasted Dak? Are fans suddenly ungrateful only after Cooper Rush got exposed and failed badly, or does this also pertain to Dak being blasted all of this time?

Who do the Cowboys go to?
If Rush isn't the answer, I am okay with that.
But he's better than Dak. The Cowboys with Rush are better than the Cowboys with Dak.
So going back to Dak isnt an option.

Can't win a lot of games with the QB throwing 3 picks.

That said, Rush exceeded what is to be expected by a backup over 5 games.

You've lost it, BR. TOTALLY turned to the Dak hating group. You even have to make this "A+ grip" story up to bash Dak and accuse him of hanging his teammates out to dry is very sad and beyond reaching.

Here are the facts why Dak didn't suit up or play against the Eagles...

Mike McCarthy said a few weeks ago that Dak Prescott would have to practice for a full week before making his return to the starting lineup and that did not happen which backed that conclusion.

Clearly, Dak is not ready. He might not be ready for another week. It all comes down to his injury healing fully enough to where he can not only throw but handle the pressure of tacklers hitting him while his grip strength stays intact well enough to show his hand is able to handle it.

Bullcrap KM failed everyone
Rush is a backup
Their OC came out with a plan.
exactly, km and mm are the ones that failed last nite.
plus the whole team was flat and not fired up, and didnt play well.
And they were playing the best team in football right now at their house.

Had dak played he would have lost too. He might have had 4 int's as he would have thrown more.

Main thing rush did wrong was looking at the wr he was going to throw to. Cant do that vs a good secondary. Dak does same thing.

next 2 games are against weak defenses, so dak wont be tested like rush was till they play phil again.

A big part of it certainly. I'd say his final interception is on Tyler Smith since he allowed the pressure that resulted in the interception when Lamb was wide open, possibly for a TD. Maybe that changes the outcome of the game. Maybe if Dante Fowler doesn't jump offsides when Philly was clearly only planning to try to draw us offsides before kicking a field goal changes the outcome. Maybe challenging the spot before going for it on fourth down in our territory early in the game changes the outcome.

Fans always want a scapegoat. Been doing it as long as I remember. But when it's a team game, there is team blame. We probably win with better QB play, but we also probably win if we had done a few other things better as well. Rush might come off as the hero if Smith doesn't allow him to be hit and the pass goes complete to Lamb for a TD. Those complaining about Lamb's play would look at him differently as well because his numbers would have gone from 5 for 68 to 6 for 100-plus and a TD.
Dude it was Rushs fault. Quit making excuses and move on.

Yeah, pile on Rush....what a surprise. Yes, he played poorly the 1st half and his 3 INT's were bad. However, he led Dallas back to a 20-17 deficit early in the 4th quarter and the defense failed to stop Philly from driving 75 yards in 8:00 to seal the game. Also, what about the stupid 4th and 1 pass call on their own 30 down 14-0, the failure to challenge the result of the preceeding 3rd down play, and the piss poor OC's decision to go pass happy when the running game was working in the 1st half????? Oh, and what about all the bad penalties?????

So just like so many say Dak isn;t to blame for everything in a loss, neither is Rush.
Remember that when you’re piling on Dak

True, but the decision was not up to Dak. It was up to McCarthy and the Cowboys doctors & rehab group being in full agreement that Dak's hand is ready, which it still is not in their professional opinion.

I'm saying the talent gap between Dak and Cooper is vast. Dak is historically fantastic against the NFC East and I believe we win going away last night if he plays. Iggles' offense didn't do much other than run well in the second half. Without short fields, their offense probably scores half as many points.
I don’t know if it’s going away Dak can’t control the 4 points Fowler gave the eagles and 3 McCarthy did but he’s better than rush
