So, zero interceptions, got it.
whatever!!

hater reaction for sure,

excuses for him none for Dak..got it.. last week 102 yards 2 fumbles none lost 2 near picks 2 weeks ago , we are saying Rush is backup, expected this and what last week 102 yards impressed you? his less then 20 PPG bottom 10 stats impress you?? the team mainly STs, defense the run game were responsible for the bus ride Rush took, not taking anything away from him. hes backup, period never threatened daks job, not even close,

only the 49% who are dak haters stated as such. The coaches, FO, players, and most of the fan base know daks the starter and will welcome him Bace, NEVER ever a controversy. Got that??

dak had 37tds to only 10 INTs in 16 full games and win streak 6-0 and beat the snot out of philly 3 straight games plus undefeated in the division. anything else?

got that?
got that?

hes our starter for Good reason all this nonsense the last 3 weeks were insane and came to an end...

GOT THAT??

4-1 as a starter this season.

He set us up nicely to go on a run and make the playoffs.

Many projected (myself included) we would be 1-5 or 2-4 at this point
set up nicely, with the offensive output against ramas, we knew the defense won that game...in this game defense couldn't rescue him and he buried himself with those Ints....he had been lucky with some of his Ints getting called back because of penalties. you knew luck would run out.

and in the playoffs, if we somehow would have made it...we would get crushed.

the coaches and team game planned around his limitations. knowing that if it lasts too long, it will all get exposed. it lasted 5 games..... so hopefully we don't need to go to him any longer.

Comparing the Eagles of recent past with this 6-0 team is asinine just like comparing anything from the past to the present.

Are you surprised? I'm a Cowboys fan. Have been since 93. The reason we lost is the exceptionally successfully TV show, Always Sunny and their superstitions

Any JAG could have done what he did with our defense...the joke is on the haters that said he's better than Dak....lol!

It was bound to happen. This entire fanbase needs to be thankful Dallas isn't 0-6. Cooper did well & now it's time for our #1 to come back.

Failed in the game. But not as a backup QB.

He did bring the team back to within four with the help of the defense, but then the defense failed to step up one more time when it was needed at let Philly march down the field anc score. The last interception looked kind of fishy to me. Why throw it towards the safety inside the field when the receiver had him beat on the sideline. He made that same play against the Rams in a perfectly thrown ball to Gallup where he was covered, so he easily had the arm strength to do it again.

Yeah, pile on Rush....what a surprise. Yes, he played poorly the 1st half and his 3 INT's were bad. However, he led Dallas back to a 20-17 deficit early in the 4th quarter and the defense failed to stop Philly from driving 75 yards in 8:00 to seal the game. Also, what about the stupid 4th and 1 pass call on their own 30 down 14-0, the failure to challenge the result of the preceeding 3rd down play, and the piss poor OC's decision to go pass happy when the running game was working in the 1st half????? Oh, and what about all the bad penalties?????

So just like so many say Dak isn;t to blame for everything in a loss, neither is Rush.
You're too emotional.

He was the main reason for this loss.

A big part of it certainly. I'd say his final interception is on Tyler Smith since he allowed the pressure that resulted in the interception when Lamb was wide open, possibly for a TD. Maybe that changes the outcome of the game. Maybe if Dante Fowler doesn't jump offsides when Philly was clearly only planning to try to draw us offsides before kicking a field goal changes the outcome. Maybe challenging the spot before going for it on fourth down in our territory early in the game changes the outcome.

Fans always want a scapegoat. Been doing it as long as I remember. But when it's a team game, there is team blame. We probably win with better QB play, but we also probably win if we had done a few other things better as well. Rush might come off as the hero if Smith doesn't allow him to be hit and the pass goes complete to Lamb for a TD. Those complaining about Lamb's play would look at him differently as well because his numbers would have gone from 5 for 68 to 6 for 100-plus and a TD.

He got hit by Graham as he was throwing. Nothing fishy, just our LT giving up pressure a tad too quickly.

We all should be. Rush failed last night, but that doesn't mean Dak should get a free pass. Dak's last two games the Cowboys have scored 3 and 17 points. After last night the Cowboys have to go back to Dak, but I have a serious feeling that Dak is playing for his job in 2023. He has to play better than he did the back half of 2021. He is more than capable, but we have seen that this team can win games with a back up QB. We are seeing a lot of teams have success with mediocre QBs. Marcus Mariota has Atlanta winning games. Bailey Zappe has NE winning games. Zach Wilson has done his best Cooper Rush impression to be 3-0. The Gians are somehow 5-1 with a QB they declined the 5th year option on. Seattle is someone decent with Geno Smith. Minnesota is thriving with Cousins.

QBs with less talent are doing more with less than Dak has, at least in recent history. Let's see what Dak can do with this team, especially now that they have a bit of an identity. It's an interesting year with the QB position though as teams are having success with young and/ or cheap and succeeding.
I mean Dak had that same record way back in…last season.

Cooper Rush played as well as you can expect the last 4 weeks but last night especially in the first half he played terrible.

He almost got us blown out

If failure is helping us to 4-1 Ill take it. No one expected it. Last night was expected and still had a chance at the end, that's all you can ask for from a backup.

Yep, and this team failed down the stretch against winning teams. Time to rise to the occasion and win big games when they matter. Dak failed at that the 2nd half last year, Rush failed at that last night. This team is well equipped to make a run, time to make it happen.

I was just taking issue with your claim that he had not done your exact situation in recent history. He started 5-1, which to you is apparently meaningful, as recently as possible.

I said several times prior to the game that if we don’t generate more offense and points than we have and Rush makes any mistakes we’re done. Doubt anyone is surprised that he imploded in this game we all thought he was probably going to be in over his head. With that being said Rush did exactly what you’re hoping for with a backup QB during his five starts he kept us afloat.
