Yeah the Cowboys would have a better conference record.I may be wrong but if Philly drops a game and Dallas wins 2 it’s a second seed for Dallas

I don't know what that is supposed to mean ..... I am rooting for this team ..... But the fact remains that if they would have taken care of business the last two weeks we would be in first place.Lol, poor baby.
The way Philly has been playing lately they could lose both games.Let me start by saying this:
I want Dallas to beat Detroit Saturday night. Badly.
But let's say we lose.
And let's say Philly beats Arizona the next day to clinch the NFC East.
That means we'd be locked into the 5th seed.
Which means we could treat our Week 18 game at Washington like a "bye week" of sorts, rather than playing that game to win and risking injury to our key starters right before the playoffs.
With our luck, they might even give us the Saturday night game for Wild Card weekend.
If we're being honest with ourselves, it's pretty unlikely the Eagles drop one of their final 2 games (vs Arizona, at NYG). So Dallas winning out will most likely not affect our playoff seeding.
Again: I want to win Saturday and keep the pressure on Philly. Beating good teams helps keep the team's confidence high and I hate the idea of potentially entering the playoffs on a 4-game losing streak.
But at the end of the day, is "confidence entering the playoffs" more important than "being as healthy as possible entering the playoffs"? It's certainly debatable.
Just offering a sliver of a silver lining in case the Lions ruin our NYE weekend.
No. Plain and simple. Not even debatable. But nice try.Let me start by saying this:

The Giants are not good enough to beat Philly when the Eagles play poorly. And the Cardinals, with two four win teams right behind them are not going to risk not getting Murray a potential super star wide receiver, on a rookie contract, just for a late season win against a playoff bound team. They’ll compete. They won’t overdo it.The way Philly has been playing lately they could lose both games.

Sorry if that not glitter and rainbow enough for a fan like you.

Silly. Losing is never a "blessing in disguise".Let me start by saying this:
