Even if she was paid off, that just makes it look like that was her goal.

Very few respectible women would take a payoff if something really bad happened to them.

All you have to do is see how she's being treated here to understand why she would take a payoff. She didn't think she'd get justice anyway. She said that first day that he'd get away with it. When people think that all those bruises were either self inflicted or Hardy gave it to her in self defense, I can't blame her one bit.

So, we are accepting she was paid off, even if it is only to acknowledge that was her overall purpose? That is progress!

Don't know. I white and not a "Gangsta".

She got what most women that get beaten got. The blame. Standard defense for a man is to say, "she was crazy and I had to defend myself. See, I got this little scratch on the side of my face."

The thing that annoys me is people like the guy's football so much that will believe anything, no matter how ridiculous it sounds. I remember when pro athletes had an expectation of being role models. That really doesn't matter now.

I bet there are many fans of Aaron Hernandez as the are of Jason Witten.

That's the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. I'm just enjoying this though. lol So because other people beat their wives it's okay Hardy does? lol There is plenty of proof he beat her. I have more respect for people who say he's a bad guy but I don't care. He'll help my team. I can understand that. Or the courts didn't convict him so why should the Cowboys? It's the defending of him as a good guy that baffles me. Don't care about Brady. I've said plenty of times I think he's a cheater and should have been suspended. Has nothing to do with Hardy though.

Some of yous just have piss poor reading comprehension. Nobody has ever said, or even hinted that because other people beat their wives it's okay that Hardy did. That's nonsense.

So what is the proof? The bruises? I hope you don't believe that these pictures prove her story.

This is absurd. Of course she did. Am I supposed to believe you over the District Attorney in the case? IT is pretty plain for everyone to see.

If the DA doesn't offer up any evidence and just makes a statement? Then you absolutely should not just blindly trust it. If that is all it takes for you to think something is "plain for everyone to see" then I hope you are NEVER on a jury or asked to make any decisions that can impact on others.

And because of people playing the, "blame the victim" card, it is impossible for any man to try and defend himself or claim innocence because they and anyone who tries to stand up for them will be criticized for blaming the victim like they are scum. Heaven forbid people try to question things and get facts before making a determination of who, if anyone, is actually the victim.

Because a respected officer of the court and law enforcement official is less credible than the biased football fan. Is that it?

The bar to justify hurting a woman is very high in the culture I live in. Maybe not so much in yours.

Have you ever played Grand Theft Auto? I haven't, but I have heard that it sets a very low moral standard.

It has nothing to do with the biased football fan. It has to do with blindly accepting what someone says without any actual support to what they say. That's just naive and foolish IMO. Feel free to do it though if you want.

Unlike you I don't differentiate between hurting a man or a woman. I think the bar to justify hurting anyone is very high. However, I might define "hurting" someone far differently than you. I also think my standard for evidence is far higher than yours. Do you wish we still had witch trials?

If he were playing for another team I would consider him and animal and a vial human who has no right to play in this league

Since he plays for the blue and silver, I have no problem with what he did
Just violently get sacks on the opposing QB's

Is there ANY evidence they weren't self inflicted? Can you actually point to this evidence or just talk about something as if it were fact without actually making a case for it? Google pictures of bruises from falls, then consider someone falling hard against the corner of a bath tub. Then ask yourself how easily those bruises could be from exactly what Hardy says happened. If you're unwilling to even consider the possibilities and ask questions about what happened, then your opinion is worthless as it wasn't developed with even the smallest bit of critical thinking.

Nobody is saying that Hardy didn't do anything. Nobody here knows. People are simply pointing out that there are serious doubts about the whole situation.

It would have been a jury. Sports fans likely would have been eliminated from the jury in the voir dire process.

Sadly many LEO's are liars and its not far fetched to think the same of officers of the court. I have personally witnessed LEO's lying under oath and its common knowledge if you talk to lawyers that cops lie routinely.

I guess it is up to her to prove her innocence. Your attitude is exactly what we were talking about. Why should a woman report abuse. She will wind up being victimized again. You are proving the point. You want to believe all the wild speculation that folks spew, but won't even consider the woman's story cause it deprives you of something you want. What your motive is I have no idea, but you accept the burden over the reasonable.

I have to place you into the. Kid because you make no sense and I don't care to hear your trash anymore.

Uninvited!

I have not considered that what she said is true? That's a flat out lie, or terrible assumption.

I have not said her story is false. I have not determined that Hardy is innocent. I don't know. And neither do you. The problem is you won't admit that. You have made up your mind. I on the other hand believe in critical thinking and think there is a lot of evidence there that should make one at the very least question things.

A small percentage are, yes. But DA's are about as credible as you can get. Sure, you can point out exceptions, but a DA's reputation is a little more solid that Greg Hardy's.

Step outside the world of the Dallas Cowboys, and you will see the guy is universally condemned. His only defenders that I can find are here, or at Hos' site. And most of those are the same people.

The fact that so many refuse to even consider he did it is disturbing.
