My opinion. T Will has shown me nothing that makes me want to see 5 more years of it.
He is a guy that you should be able to replace with a 3rd round draft pick. I believe you pay for future production and if his next 5 years match his last then no thank you.

Agreed. I'm not paying Williams big money, or even middle money. There's entire games when he doesn't show up. You draft a receiver for that level of production.

Personally I'd like to move on from most of that list.

We would all like pro bowlers across the board. The problem is, that's not going to happen. So we have to take the best available that fits in the budget. That's why Stephen is looking to resign them.

Statements like that are quite likely to encourage those players to contractually demand more than they should.

I like the fact he is letting these players who the Cowboys are interested in getting them resigned but I doubt Jones is willing to sign any of them for big contracts. No need to burn bridges before negotiations even begin by telling the media we have no interest.

There's no way you can bring back the same 4 players in the secondary and then throw a draft pick at it and claim you improved a weakness.

Personally, I'd just as soon move on from Claiborne. I had high hopes for him this past season but once again, he was on the shelf for most of the season. He will be very expensive to resign and while I think he is starting to figure it out a bit, he's just not worth the money if he's always going to be injured. He may end up being good for somebody but I have no faith that it will ever be us.

They like T-Will because he blocks and runs well. Good team guy. I'm not really nutty about him and while I understand WR blocking is important for this offense, I'd like to see somebody else scare D-Coordinators deep than Dez.

Butler is a good re-sign for the right price. Again, they like his work ethic and attitude. I like his deep speed more than T-Will, but his technique and catch radius are iffy.

I wouldn't have a problem re-signing Mo to a solid deal that doesn't have a lot of years on it. We need more O-Scan and Anthony Brown types in this scheme, but we don't have the bodies, have other areas that need to be addressed...so re-signing Mo and Carr is pretty much something we will likely do for the right price.

I wouldn't mind seeing Byron and Heath in the same defensive backfield. Church isn't bad, but he's extremely limited and we don't have Earl Thomas on this team to make up for his limitations that a good team with a good offense wouldn't take advantage of.
