He's going on the non-football injury list which buys the team about 12 weeks. Then he will get re-evaluated and most likely IR. He'll try again next year.

I thought you said he wasn't playing this year, period. Most likely is not that. Youre slipping.

I would not be shocked if this was Nors/Galien Beast. But it could be Floaty or Lee Blair as well.

People are being trolled for reactions. He's done a remarkable job of getting them, I'll give him that.

:lmao:Silly me thinking the healing would start immediately and not wait until the draft.

I am staying out of this non-sense but I do believe that the nerve would not start growing until at least the 3-month mark after surgery. Other things have to happen first. If it has started, it is pretty recent and from that point we are looking at six months or so.

My math puts him around October(at the earliest) IF all goes well. Will he be ready to suit up in that case? I have no idea......

Amazing walking without the knee brace six days after being restricted for six weeks and feels fantastic!

People that have to assume the worst because of how they react to adverse circumstances are amusing. Repeating it ad nauseum is a nice touch.

I suppose the Cowboys are not going to put him on IR to give him a chance to play this year because they don't know the truth right?

He started regaining sensation months ago. Peripheral nerves start to regenerate automatically. Other things don't have to happen first because it's axonotmesis and not something more severe. There is no blood flow issue. Myelin started regenerating months ago.

Again, I'm relaying information that has already be disseminated to the public. IMO, he isn't playing this year... it hasn't changed. You are shooting the messenger.

Feeling a tingle and lifting the foot are two separate issues. He can't lift his foot right now. That's a fact.

No they aren't separate issues. The peroneal nerve controls both the sensation and muscle. The nerve is regenerating on shcedule. Only thing that will stop it is scar tissue and medical imaging can show that.

Well, that settles it. Solid research.

research? You think it's my job to do research for you? I'm telling you the guy ain't playing. You think I'm wrong, okay... I can't live with that.

Obviously. He can't move his foot right now. That is what I stated as a fact. A tingle is not the same thing as moving it. Far from it, in fact. By all accounts, we are months from it.

So you're not going to back up your claim and wave your hands some more. I'm supposed to guess which article you are talking about. Nice.

It was on the draft day espn tv coverage and repeated today on "Talkin' Cowboys" on dallascowboys.com.

Aye but those other "things" are the macrophages, Schwann cells, etc that I pointed to in another thread that need to keep the scar tissue at bay which allows a greater chance of the peroneal nerve to fire.

Tingling is a great sign and he seems to be ahead of schedule yet it does not mean that he is in the free and clear.
