The first game was against the Giants, Eli can throw the ball at a ref and they wont record a sack for him. The other was philly, 3 step drop and the last was atlanta, come on.

Only two teams have less sacks than the Cowboys: Miami and San Diego.
Has our dline gotten worse? Specifically we didn't have Lawrence , Gregory, or Hardy last year but we recorded more sacks through 3 games.

I don't think it will pick up much when Hardy returns. He was out so long it's going to take him a few games to get back into the swing of things so patience is called for.

They were using LBs Wilber and Wilson as well as DT Jack Crawford and rookie DT/DE Russell at DE in the Atlanta game. Hardy is a better DE than those guys with 1 arm tied behind his back.

The Giants and Eagles QBs get ball out in 2 seconds. The average is over 3 seconds.

Atlanta holds it longer but the DL was depleated in that game. LB Wilson and Wilber as well as DT Jack Crawford had to play snaps at DE in that game. They really needed Mincey.

Oh and the Cowboys had 3 sacks in the first three games last year, so the OP isn't even accurate.

I was thinking we really didn't get going sackwise until Melton started getting pressure. Then, we got some from Mincey and Crawford. In the playoffs, Lawrence stepped up, but that was pretty much it. If I remember correctly.

I expect less from McClain because he didn't practice much or play during the preseason. Hardy had the preseason to get his feet back under him. I expect him to pressure the passer. That doesn't necessarily mean he'll get sacks, but he'll make his presence felt.

Yall have got to give up on these attempts to gauge this team right now. Nothing is going to look pretty. Nothing that's going on right now matters outside of wins and losses. It's just not realistic with the team they're rolling out there.

somehow you seem to be thinking that Hardy plays QB. Rushing the passer is a WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT then passing the ball. You really need to retake football 101.
