I guess teams are giving up more sacks now a days.

Actually it was easier to get sacks back then... in 1992 the league averaged 2.5 per team per game and they faced 29.99 pass attempts per game.

Last season the average was 2.4 sacks per team per game and they faced 34.9 pass attempts per game.

Who on this team can provide any pressure that isn't injured. Please step up

That should be Crawford and D-Law right? They've invested quite a bit into those guys -- presumably not just to be complimentary players.

Only two teams have less sacks than the Cowboys: Miami and San Diego.
Has our dline gotten worse? Specifically we didn't have Lawrence , Gregory, or Hardy last year but we recorded more sacks through 3 games.

no conclusion can be made from this "stat" after only 3 games - kind of ESPN like to throw out there like that. As of now, they've jumped up one spot to 29th with another half to play in game 4. If they're able to get 3 sacks in the 2nd half of this game, they'd jump up 17 spots and be tied for 12th, see what I mean?
