Yes and obviously you don't know much have you looked at our cap for next year without out Romo or Spencers so lets pile more on a prob we already have great idea and just think we will be 20-30mil over the cap next year without resigning any of our young guys awesome just to be 8-8 again.

I've been down on romo this past season but to say he will only lead us to 8-8 again isn't just on him. He did bring us to 13-3 11-5 9-7 etc. if we fix the oline and give him a running game it's a whole new ball game

Im with you man. this is just crazy. i have never seen an owner/GM fight so hard to keep a 8 and 8 team together.a team that's missed the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years.it's like a nightmare that won't end.

If the numbers are anywhere close to what is being reported, then I think we are very lucky indeed that Romo is giving us a huge discount. I agree with the poster who said Romo could get way more if he hit the open market.

I would like to hope that Romo realizes if he creates a steep asking price for his contract that it would reduce his chances of making a deep playoff run for this team. He could ask for a boatload of money, but I believe Romo (and the majority of the core) want to be able to bring in a better supporting cast.
