You do realize it's more likely than not he falls on his face in a hostile road environment against one of the best teams in the nfl right?

I dunno man.. Dak has put up some of his best performances when he has been doubted and counted out. It's the frontrunner, everybody on your nutz role he seems to have trouble with.

If Dak plays it's a Jerry decision. Mike has said he wants to see a full week of practice, and Dak has not had that. Jerry can't resist the urge to Rush him back.

Maybe that was part of the ruse, Jake.

Cowboys are playing 3D chess.

You can play with the media, and you can stay mum on his participation, but you cannot lie to the NFL or in your health reports unless you want to forfeit draft picks. Has Dak been cleared medically? I don’t think so. If he gets cleared at the last minute, he still doesn’t play, doesn’t even dress. What happened to all the fans that want less important players to take their time and get healthy before playing? lol

Oh, wonderful we get to see a ton of check-downs and screens!!!
Add to that those sacks he takes for being in a confused "deer in headlights" mode while holding on to the ball forever and then fumbling it.
DAK is BACK baby!!!!!:yourock:

P.S. Get them excuses ready!!!!!

I believe hes suiting up and will be the #2 and if need can come in for a spark or to clean up a blowout either direction to get soem live action against the eagles. just wild a guess but that my feeling hes been practicing more and more and they haven't ruled him out.

I like this take.

It protects Dak from talking heads if he plays and doesnt win.

Now...if he comes in a looks awful...ouch.

Could just say we rushed it without giving him enough practice reps because we needed him to come in and try to jump-start the offense. Lots of ways to make him look like the hero in this scenario.

I posted about this earlier in the week. Have him ready in case the time comes to break the emergency glass. If the defense has the inevitable off day having a guy who has lit this team up for 400 yards and 3 TDs on more than one occasion is a nice insurance policy.
me as well.

wym...he is cleared how else is he a limited participant at practice? He has no medical rules to clear other than the team doctors telling him he is ready to start throwing

But we are not one of the best teams also, at 4-1 with a back up QB?
Why would it be likely he fails. Why can’t it be likely Hurts fails against us?

oh yes, the old double standards….

It may not be Jones' decision but there can be no doubt he added a TON of input into it.

There is no way anyone as vocal as him does not say squat within his own organization, especially about a decision this important.

..wow, really interesting.

Like others have felt. I think Dak suits up. For just in case scenarios.

I feel good about it. Dak did say, he threw with pop rocks.

If Rush is getting it done they won’t play him but I think he suits up. They mess around and put Dak in and Rush is doing good enough and Dak injures the thumb and it’s bad news for MM. if we aren’t doing well at halftime I could see Dak coming in. You know the egirls will come after Dak big time. But if he can throw the ball then blitzing would be a bad idea for egirls.
