They are 3-4 in their last 7 and 2-2 in their last 4. They are not ascending. They are what they have always been: a team that either wins by 30 or loses by 5 and can lose or beat anyone. That is how you end up as the 5th-7th best team in the AFC. If I were only using their record btw I would have them at 11th as that is where they sit in the conference.
This is way overthinking it lmao.

2-1 in their last 3 and beat the Chiefs. Should have beaten the Eagles. The notion that teams like Pittsburgh is better than the Bills is silly.

The bills are fighting for their playoff life right now. They need to win every week to guarantee a way in, and even have paths that take them to either AFC East champion or even the 1 seed still. Every game for them is a playoff game right now, and they could get hot at any given moment. They are AT LEAST as dangerous as the Eagles were/are and we are playing them in Buffalo, which is not an inviting atmosphere. Josh Allen can singelhandedly wreck a defense (or throw them out of the game). The Running Game has been looking really good and their defense is streaky. Not to mention, they're battle tested over the last few weeks.

I think you perfectly summarized the bills but I'm a little confused on how you don't consider them to be good. A team that can either blow you out or only lose by a small margin doesn't scream "bad" to me. They are underachieving but i would still say they are a dangerous team.

Youre strictly looking at their record. They are an ascending team that will be a tough out for any team in the AFC. I promise you, no one wants to see the Bills in the playoffs
You really think high of Allen. He lucky his daddy Joe got hurt. He MIGHT squeak through and do something this year. But the jags prob mop them boys up to be honest

They are ascending because they lost to a descending Eagles team and and had a bye week to prepare to barely beat a KC team in turmoil that cant score 20 points and their QB and head coach having hiss fits? Not buying it. They can beat us. No doubt. Any given sunday and they are desperate and they are at home. But they are NOT a good team. They are average. They blitz too much because their secondary is not good. And havent been close to a good defence since Milano got hurt. They are an average team who at times play good and at times play bad.
The analytics give us a 50% chance to beat Buffalo

but “they arent a good team!” Tho lol

We gonna see on Sunday. I dont want you to act like its some big win either if we do win. Since you know; they arent a good team

Nah they're good but like I said in the other thread. It's not like we should be low-key shook. Shook is if we see san fran. Everybody else it's up

This is correct. The only juggernaut I would very much like to see have a bad day in the playoffs so we don't have to play them is the 49ers. Every other team I feel is at best equal to the Cowboys, and frankly I tend to trust McCarthy and Quinn as differentiators in those games.

Buffalo is a good team that should be taken seriously and has every opportunity to beat the Cowboys. But they should not be deified as the "next test" either. They are a good test and it will make for an excellent game.

Buffalo going to come out swinging like Seattle with Playoff hopes on the line. That's probably a more talented team to come out swinging. Going to be tough. At least weather doesn't look that bad. Our guys are used to the comfort of JerryWorld.

Bills are the anti-Eagles.

The Eagles are much worse than their record shows. The Bills are better than their record shows. I think Dallas can win but this is going to be a tougher game than the one Dallas just played.
My thoughts completely. The rating changes week to week but right now I have it as follows:

49ers
Ravens
Cowboys
Eagles
Bills
Lions
Dolphins

Definitely biased based on the Dolphins game yesterday and the Lions dropping a couple of games in terrible fashion. And I acknowledge that the Ravens ahead of the Cowboys is debateable but you can really switch them out and it wouldn't matter.

If only we were more weather tested like the Niners... they play in extremely harsh weather out in that wasteland on the west coast. It will be 62 and sunny today. I dont know how they survive the elements each week.

So the Ravens, who needed a punt return in OT to squeak out a home win against the Rams are rated higher than the Cowboys?

These ratings are always subjective. Throw teams out there by record and then settle the ties according to head to head so far or your gut.

Cowboys as 2nd or 3rd is fine. Honestly, they could rate them 5, 6 or 26th and it wouldn’t matter to me.
