We didn't even make the playoffs last year in part because we had Proctor as a backup guard.

I cannot grasp the idea he is on the team. This is like some sort of sick joke.

I'm hoping the fact the Boys kept 10 OL means a move is still in the works which would involve getting rid of Cory... or McQuistan, I'd be all in favor of losing both of 'em...

I thought I would log on here and get the news that should have been here: Proctor and Stanback gone. I am not pleased.

David Buehler is our 5th CB.

And he can start at BOTH spots simultaneously if need be. He'll also cover the nickel.

People always forget the sheer awesomeness of Der Buehler... and I like it that way, Der Buehler is our stealth bomber...

As stated above, that's an app. But this isn't the first time he's tweeted something that was going on when I'm sure the coaches would rather he not. So even if this wasn't him, it's not like he's not been active on it throughout camp.

Mark my words, the "high and tight" is coming...

Yeah, in this case he might have tipped the Cowboys' hands, which could lead to another team snapping up one of those three...

I mean, I don't think that'll happen, but somebody's gonna tell Marty to keep personnel moves that he learns about private until they're official...

OK, I feel a LITTLE better...

Except UTEP's rally against Buffalo came up a little short too... so only my Horns won this weekend, and of course the Sooners lost, so all in all it hasn't been too depressing an opening weekend for this college football fan...

Colt went 21 of 30 for 317 yards and 2 TDs, with 1 int, in three quarters of work, opening up his Heisman chase... he got a quick leg up on Bradford, who missed the second half of the BYU-OU game with what has been called a sprained shoulder...

The Sooners are seriously screwed if he has to miss much time... their new offensive line was less than impressive tonight... they racked up all of 264 yards of total offense, and had a 3.7 yards per carry average, against a defense that 59th in total defense last year, 60th in rush defense...

So it's not looking good for me vis a vis the Cavs and Miners, but so far so good for the Horns...

Other teams have watched cowboys waiver wire so they can figure out pretty easily who is the front office has slated for ps just as easily as a bunch of Internet gms. Soo I don't think it's a big concern that marty

Did it occur to anyone that Proctor could just be serving as a "placecard" for the Brewster kid when he comes off of the PUP list? I mean someone is going to have to be released and it would make sense that it's someone on the OL. By that time the club should have a better feel for what Preston can do at the center position.
