But what does that have to do with 2007? Aaron wins my respect not because he is great, but because he is better than the current alternatives. Got it? bbgun, I don't think ANYONE here wears the rose colored glasses because they want to be loved or accepted. Some of the most acerbic posters on any sports boards tend to be the most, to use a high school word. 'popular', and many a naysayer (wayne, for instance) are among the most respected.

Some fans legitimately DO not just see the silver lining but insist on sewing it in 24/7 - while others are amusingly critical. But I don't see where dignity or lack thereof plays a part on either side.

just keep on keeping on...you're priceless.

It'll be interesting to see where Glenn lands and how much he helps out his new team (if he does not retire). As usual, the story won't be told til season's end.
