Sacacrapo? Oh my, this is getting intense.
:laugh2:

Maybe we can start a new thread that's actually about Aaron Glenn being cut.:

bbgun, I don't think ANYONE here wears the rose colored glasses because they want to be loved or accepted. Some of the most acerbic posters on any sports boards tend to be the most, to use a high school word. 'popular', and many a naysayer (wayne, for instance) are among the most respected.

Some fans legitimately DO not just see the silver lining but insist on sewing it in 24/7 - while others are amusingly critical. But I don't see where dignity or lack thereof plays a part on either side.

just keep on keeping on...you're priceless. :lmao:

It'll be interesting to see where Glenn lands and how much he helps out his new team (if he does not retire). As usual, the story won't be told til season's end.

Well, it's alarmingly easy to come off as a "contrarian" (read: fair-minded) when the board swings relentlessly in one direction. Who was it that scanned and shared all those childhood scrapbook pix last week? Oh yeah, twas me. Just another devious attempt to pass myself off as a Cowboy fan. Guess you saw through me.

Now don't get going all maudlin - what pix btw? is it in the media zone?

Sucks to be our Defensive Passing Yards per Game Ranking in 2007......

Can we possibly get into the real season before making any judgments?

We haven't even seen our real scheme as of yet. You don't have to like Phillips, but he certainly has a history of producing top-flight defenses...

Let's talk about this stat in late Oct, early Nov...

I'm bound to "consistency"? What world are you living in? When you do well, you get praised. When you don't, you get bashed. Understand how that works? I'm no different from the Bledsoe or Tuna bashers, of which there are thousands roosting here. Nor was I the only one to lambaste Aaron for his performance against the Skins. But what does that have to do with 2007? Aaron wins my respect not because he is great, but because he is better than the current alternatives. Got it? The problem is that your Cowboy needle is stuck on "praise," come hell or high water, which makes you a sheep and explains why you're nowhere to be found on this board after a bad game. Sad, but true. Sadder still is that you went combing through the archives for my posts on a minor ex-player. Are you deranged? Lonely? Bored? BTW, two of those posts were in the same thread. Was that the best you could do to "prove" my malevolence? It is to laugh. The other post was on the heels of the infamous Skins game, which was totally justified considering his performance. Nevertheless, one bad game does not erase his usefulness to us right now. Let that sink in.

LMAO I am on this board everyday win or lose except days I am at the game live, making things up doesnt make you look less foolish.

You wanted to replace Aaron Glenn with a 10 vet WR, yet today you say he was a good player :lmao2:

I think he wanted to replace Aaron Glenn with Terry Glenn.

After all, Troy Brown did it. :lmao:

That's right, he did. Much to his credit, I might add. And when Bill put TO in the secondary against Philly on Xmas, it showed that he was open to the idea as well. This isn't "crazy talk."

:lmao2: you usually put WRs in the secondary to prevent potential Hail Mary's

Um, when TO was inserted into the game, the best Philly could hope for was field goal range--not a chuck into the endzone. You're off your game tonight, waiter.

Eagles strike quickly

The Cowboys put T.O. on the field in anticipation of a Hail Mary from Philly. Garcia calmly dumps off the ball to Greg Lewis, who steps out of bounds with one second left in the first half.
That's a big score for the Eagles.
I need someone to keep up with how many times NBC shows Carrie Underwood. I think we're already up to four or five times.

bbgun sure brings out the best in people. I wonder how people can deal with this guy in real life or at the office.
