Wonder why he's announced before the others.

Isn't the a 24 hour clock on waivers? Maybe they wanted to see if getting him out early would help moving him to the PS. I still think a 3-4 team will grab him now before he makes it to the PS and then they will have the whole roster issue.

If these cuts are to be believed, they went heavy at DT. T. Crawford, J. Crawford, Hayden, Coleman, McClain, Bishop, with Russell also able to supply snaps at the 3T, as well as Mincey and Hardy on passing downs.

Makes me wonder if they are working on a trade involving one of those guys. I would assume that Lavar Edwards is a placeholder for when Hardy comes off the suspended list.

Why on earth is there a new roster zone but discussion of cuts from our own roster go in this forum?

The Roster Zone will likely be a seasonal forum that will be activated once training camp starts and run until the start of the season each year. At least that is the plan right now.

The Roster Zone is where all of the following types of threads belong:

1) Roster predictions
2) Possible, potential or even hopeful trade scenarios
3) Players cut from other teams that you feel might help the Cowboys
4) Any other non-official roster changes, additions, cuts, etc.

I don't think they do. Probably just went heavy on d-line until Hardy is back. I tell you what though the pass rush will be coming in swarms. The rotation should keep these guys fresh and ready to bring it every snap. I like that we went heavy on the d-line.
