The contract he'll require could put the team in a big hole, cap wise.

:lmao2::lmao2:

Every year same stories, all for clicks and the marketing machine. We sign low tier reclamation projects, which are “solid” in our system. Rinse, repeat, win a bunch, lose when it matters.

If Buffalo decides to move on from the Pro Bowl receiver before next season, the Cowboys are the betting favorite to land him.

Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl wideout Stefon Diggs had a down season by his standards and also had a big drop in the playoff game against the Chiefs. Even with a subpar regular season, Diggs registered 107 catches for 1,183 yards and eight scores.

The Bills, like the Cowboys, have not found the postseason success they thought they would, and speculation is that Buffalo could move on from Diggs in the offseason. If they do, Dallas is the favorite per Bovada to land Diggs to play alongside his brother, corner Trevon.

The Cowboys come in at +200 as Diggs' next team if he departs Buffalo. The Giants are second at +400, followed by seven other teams tied at +950 including Baltimore, Kansas City and San Francisco.

Cowboys are the favorites for every free agent, every player requesting a trade and every coach that does not have a job.

It really is amazing to me how so many fans want the team to do better but literally turn their noses up at every single potential upgrade. Too expensive! Talks too much! Wears a hat the wrong way! Has an Instagram!! Isn't in the prime of his career on a rookie contract with an all pro resume!!!

Meanwhile we play Jalen Tolbert
They need a lot of things. If they're spending big on Diggs, it means they're cutting corners at Oline, Dline, LB, RB, etc etc. All the vital parts where you need to take the ball out of the QBs hands in playoff situations. Nope, just add to the pressure and then be amazed when it fails.. again!! This doesn't mean they can't find other good WRs. But the team is strapped and Diggs won't be close to enough.

Well we don't want him. If he would want to come to Dallas, he doesn't want a ring. :laugh:

Look, no matter what, we're cutting corners on something. Show me a perfect team that has a perfectly balanced roster.

If you have the chance to be great at one thing, go for it. Better that than mediocre at everything. I don't think there's a chance in he'll at Diggs, but if we were somehow able to manage it, a lineup of Diggs, Lamb, and Cooks would be best in the league

Throwing the ball wasn't the problem. It was the one area they were good at. Sure they can add to it, but there were much bigger issues that need serious attention. Oline, Dline, and LB, cutting corners there will only put them in the same boat they've been in for years. A defense that gets run over and can't get off the field on 3rd down and an offense that looks pathetic running the football while putting all the pressure on the QB. This would be a typical move for Jerry with jersey sales as the main ingredient.

On the flip side I am interested to see what Jerry and lil Enos' idea of "all in" looks like. I hope this ain't it.

Played a big part in losing the game for the Bills when dropping a 70 yard beauty right into his hands.
Yeah he has been bad all year. Dropping balls and not seeing a lot of looks in games.
Something is wrong with him.
