I think the Zimmer hire and this one will ensure the run defense is no where near as bad as it was this year. Maybe MM should hire an Offensive run guru coach.

I can see it now, Jerry and Stephen thinking ok Our work on the roster is done. lol...thats how they think. I know we have talent but we are too small. If these coaches are to have success, they need better groceries. Greg Ellis will basically be learning on the job as far as coaching goes. I love that hire alot.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I've reviewed all of Zimmer's hires, and to my knowledge he's never had anyone in the position of "Run Game Defense Coordinator," nor "Pass Game Defense Coordinator." Until just now, he seemed to prefer very skinny defensive staffs.
