I vaguely recall his playing days. Dude was live a tree trunk in the middle. Great run stuffer. Gritty blue collar guy. This hire is a great sign of what we are trying to achieve. I dont think we have a guy on the roster that can implement the run stuffing. MAYBE Mazi and Hankins but we need to dip into free agency for that dude. More than 1. Mazi will sink or swim with this guy. Its up to Mazi.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I've reviewed all of Zimmer's hires, and to my knowledge he's never had anyone in the position of "Run Game Defense Coordinator," nor "Pass Game Defense Coordinator." Until just now, he seemed to prefer very skinny defensive staffs.
