if they give Weddle money then they better draft DE in each of first 4 rounds (both 4th rounders too).

I think they have money to sign whoever they want.

Also I think David Irving and Ryan Russell would be much improved this year with additional work in the weight room and in film study, I think at least one of them will be a solid backup at DE.

I would absolutely loath taking Bosa at 4, even if Dallas doesn't resign Hardy or draft a DE in the first round, I think they would be OK with a second tier FA or draft pick from the 2nd or 3rd round.

in that scenario who is your starting DE (other than Lawrence)? I agree on Bosa.

My best case would be DLaw and Irving at SDE, Hardy and Gregory at WDE - but I have absolutely no idea what is going on with either Hardy or Gregory.

I think the worst case would be Irving and a stop gap FA at SDE with DLaw moving to WDE.

I just don't there is cause for panic (not that you are) but I do think Irving and Russell (and probably Jack Crawford) will provide a lot better depth than people expect.

That is one player I really like. The injury thing bothers me, but he looks like a stud otherwise.

Cowboys need to do both. Draft Joseph in the 3rd/4th AND sign Weddle. If Joseph is not ready, or reinjures himself, then that is another season lost relying on JJ and Church. Neither guy is the answer and Cowboys need to move on.

Unless we plan on drafting Karl Joseph, who would make an immediate impact at SS as a rookie, then I wouldn't mind seeing two free safeties back there. They'd still be better than Church or Wilcox. I'd be fine with Jones and Weddle at safety and a mid-round rookie CB.

I really like that pick in the 3rd.

Weddle would complete the deal and eliminate Ramsey from consideration. Weddle is a player with instincts so we are probably not interested.

He's going to go to the steelers. He wants to be on a contender and they will probably win the sb this season.

Would really like Weddle and Long just so the Cowboys feel good enough about the roster to take Goff or Wentz. Right now it looks like Bosa is destined to be the pick if he's there.
