Sounds like the frontrunners are the Jets and Falcons, though some are throwing the Fins in there too.

Fwiw, there's been a flood of supposed insiders saying Dallas has no interest at this point. Who knows if it's true, but that's what is our there as of today.

You're welcome everyone.

LoL!!!!! What makes it so bad is we all saw the video of Jerry, Jason and Wade discussing the pick before they made it. It was all about Felix or Mendenhall not once did they even bring up Cj2k. Rapoport is just flat out lying now.

I think what he meant to say was Tennessee wanted Felix and Dallas took him and Tennessee settled for Cj2k. At least that was the rumor back then.

Tennessee could have easily never wanted Felix Jones.

I agree defense is the first priority...but when you consider we lost Miles Austin and we have one reliable RB on this team...I don't think we can ignore that side of the ball. Think about it...how many starts do the WRs outside of Dez have on this team? If Murray gets hurt...do you like what we have on this team at RB? We have multiple safeties on this team..and I don't think some rookie will come in and be any better than the multiple options we have at safety on this team. Our trio of CBs might tbe the highest paid trio in the NFL. We have several bodies on the DL and I think that should be our first priority in the draft. But Romo is the biggest piece on this team...and his window to get it done is short...outside of Witten we are very short on experience at the skill positions...so I still think a veteran player (like Sproles, DeSean or CJ2k would have been/be a nice addition)

WR3 makes me a little nervous. If Murray gets hurt, bring in a vet RB they are readily available and pretty cheap. Wanting to take advantage of Romo's window of opportunity is something we are all interested in. Using all available resources towards improving our defense in the next 5 months is the best way to accomplish that. For now adding players like Sproles, DeSean or CJ2K are luxuries.

My guess is the Cowboys are interested until they see what other teams actually offer him. He would be a good fit, but hes almost ancient in RB years, and would be second on the depth chart. Dallas probably cant afford him, he probably wants a starting job. Maybe we'll be surprised, but I doubt it.

You are wise

Dunbar had an excellent opportunity to start building a foundation of support for that claim. Then he fumbled it away in week two last season... http://www.kcchiefs.com/media-cente...r-Fumble/5bbceafa-ce73-4170-8d2f-c1d53d0a203e

Undersized guy that cannot string together multiple games without getting hurt and has poor ball security. These are all cardinal sins for RB prospects. Might as well start counting on Matt Johnson if you think Dunbar is the answer.
