Are there any free agents on that Cardinals offensive line?

Will Hernandez (RG - IR), Kevin Beachum (RT), Evan Brown (C), Trystan Colon (G/C), Jackson Barton (LT - IR), and Carter O'Donnell (G - IR) all appear to be. They had a lot of offensive line land on the IR, pretty impressive they had a top 10 rushing offense.

Not saying anything about the skill level of any of them, just listing the free agents. Many wanted Will when he was drafted, that said, not sure how his career trajectory went.

They've only interviewed one minority candidate. Adams isn't one.

And Adams is more likely than not only mainly getting any interview at all because the new DC worked with him in IND a couple of years, and suggested it.

There will be another interview. Adams may get the job, but if he does, one should be suspicious that it came down to money. There's a lot of reason to think former Parcells asst and current WAS running game coord Anthony Lynn (Schotty's RB coach @ NYJ in 09 and 10) is going to be that guy, and yet, there's a lot of reason to think Lynn will come with a higher price tag.

You've been pretty accurate on these assistants so far.



From afar, it looks like this makes sense--they've only interviewed one minority candidate. So either Adams is their guy, and they bring in another for a sham interview, or the other is a minority and their real target. Lynn makes a ton of sense, especially for a rookie head coach--but I wonder what will be in it for him?

Also, do you know if the rule for coordinators is still two outside minority candidates? Or would they be able to interview Lunda Wells?

I hope they get better, but you need players in all areas of the team, you have to jettison off some of the deadwood and then hope for lucky breaks... One could only hope to find a Norv for offense...but you still need a head coach that can instill some fear into the players.... All that being said...I sure hope you're right.
