As expected on offense. Justin Durant might be the most under-appreciated guy on the roster, Church is a vocal guy, both are good selections imo. Dan Bailey is simply a Boss.

I don't really have any issues, but Durant being a captain on this team tells us a lot in my opinion. That's really disappointing to me. I didn't even have this guy on the roster in the beginning of the offseason.

It surprises me, too. It doesn't disappoint me, exactly. They guy has been a much better player than he's given credit for, but it shows just how threadbare this defense is. Scandrick's molly cost him a captainship, though.

I'm not sure Scandrick being a captain would have pleased me any more.

No surprises but I would have liked to see Mo or Carr be in a position to be a captain with guys like Lee and Ware out of the picture.

As far as Durant ... I'm thinking this means he's got a good grasp of the defense and has been doing well in practice and in meetings. Lets hope he shows it on the field too.

I agree. Durant has gotten pretty good reviews all offseason, so him being voted a team captain says alot to me about how the other players feel about him.

Hard to imagine Dez not being given a "C". He is the heart and soul of this team, a lot like Irvin was back in the day.

Defense, there really isn't another candidate outside of Durant....except Scandrick.

Durant is considered a consummate professional so best choice of what's left.

Let's hope that Lee getting injured propelled Durant to this spot. Outside or Romo and Church...I am not much of a fan of this list.
