Cowboys No Name LB's

Actually in good shape: Bell is a future starter, have Clark and Overshown coming back. Could definitely use a Mike lb, but Quinn likes using those hybrids
He needs both strengths to control 'top teams.'

Losing Overshown to injury was unfortunate. Hoping he comes back healthy to compete for a starting spot next year, but he'll essentially be a 2nd year rookie.

LB is a position where it's good to go with no-names. It's kind of the RB of defense... low in value compared with say DE or CB and high in injuries. Definitely not a spot where you want to stick all your eggs in one basket.

The bust rate on 1st round LBs is ridiculous, so I'd prefer to either pay a no-name kind of vet, or keep sinking mid round picks into it and hope one hits.

I could live with that but third is more likely I bet
At the back of the 2nd round.
1. Trey Benson Florida State
2. Ray Davis Kentucky
3. Donavan Edwards Michigan
4. Blake Corum Michigan

We aren't missing out this year

LB is a need for sure. However many will be calling for OL as well. And rightfully so.
Especially at LT for Tyron’s replacement.
Man, Tyron is such a tease, playing GREAT this year, but completely unreliable with health….sucks.

In the 1st round, they could draft oline, dline, linebacker, wr, corner, or qb. They should get somebody good regardless because a lot of teams will draft qb and oline. Some good players are going to fall.
I would blow this board up if this team wasted our 1st round pick on a QB. There’s no shot that’s on our list.

Pick 32 is barely a 1st round pick. If Bo Nix or the LSU qb is there, wouldn't you consider it?

With Overshown coming back and with what we have it's a low priority draft pick next year

Especially if Leonard and still play and the Cowboys sign him.
LOL. You need to re-think that statement. It’s a HUGE NEED.

Oof if we have pick 32 that means we won the SB with Dak. At that point HELL NO I’m not using my 1st on a backup qb, I’m gonna shore up that oline or CB or LB core
How about taking the best player available.

Other than the play where the tight end fooled him, I thought Clark played well against Washington.
Linebackers have actually played better since LVE was injured but if a stud linebacker falls to us, I would draft him. If the Cowboys are smart you let the linebackers on the team play out their rookie deals and keep bringing in competition to replace them. Linebacker has become the running backs to the defense.

We’ll have draft threads going soon over in draft zone if we don’t already.

O-Line, LB, WR, RB in the first four rounds would make me happy.

We don’t have a fifth but we have two sixths and a seventh.
Comp picks will change that.
