Not sure about Leonard coming here. Finances arent clear.
don't want another injury prone player. When a lesser team lets a player go, I would caution having interest unless it's 100% due to salary. In this case, it wasn't. I would rather draft and develop. JMO

We have Asim Richards who played outstanding football in preseason to step in at LT. We definitely need to draft an OT (we should every draft) but we need RB and LB and slot CB before we need OL.
Biaz remains unsigned, Tyron could retire and Martin is a year older and clearly not the same player. They have some in house options at linebacker, could easily find a slot corner on the fa market. Finding a running back is important, but they don’t need to use a top pick to find a quality one.

He is supposed to be.
Richard’s at this stage is strictly a developmental prospect, in the same boat as Walesko. He a steep learning curve that usually takes a few seasons. Expecting him to start year 2 is overly opportunistic

Tyron may play another year.

Money shouldn’t be an issue. He’s a vested vet so and was on colts roster so he’s already being paid the same as if he still was on their roster by them.

Man, Tyron is such a tease, playing GREAT this year, but completely unreliable with health….sucks.
At this point he is what he is. When healthy he’s one of the best. He’s also gonna miss some games. But what you get when he’s healthy is worth a lot. So I felt he would be done after this contract early on but I’m thinking now he may very well be back

We have to temper our expectations seeing how others looked after tearing their acl’s
He tore his early so physically he should be fine by next year. But there is a mental aspect to a serious injury for some players

The fact that you guys don't understand how well Damone Clark is playing doesn't surprise me.
I think he’s playing pretty solid and is getting better with reps. LVE shouldn’t be back if for no other reason the risk to his health. I could see a LB drafted in the middle rounds of the right guy is there. I don’t think they will go LB just to go LB though

Center concerns me though Hoffman didn’t look terrible. Tyron could be back but if the right guy falls to you then you got to take him. The first round is gonna be interesting because who’s replacing cook? Does Tyron come back? Who’s our center? Who’s replacing Gilmore? I could see lots of possibilities

Dude needs like an O2 chamber or stem cell therapy in South America, hang out with Tom Brady for a month this off-season….he CLEARLY still can be a borderline all pro player, but them injuries plague him. I feel the same as you….if he can have a team friendly contract, keep him…don’t know what kind of replacement for him we can get by next season.

With Overshown coming back and with what we have it's a low priority draft pick next year.

Especially if Leonard and still play and the Cowboys sign him.
I'd expect Overshown to return to full strength the next season, not next year same with Diggs.

LB is a need, but I'd put it behind OL, RB and CB

He's a FA, so his previous contract is moot. I'm confident if he's healthy and Quinn thinks he can help, the numbers will work themselves out.

I don't think LVE is coming back. This many neck injuries in so short a time has to have him and his family concerned.
You might be right, but he is under contract for next year, so I think if he can play, he will.

Having a senior moment here - I thought we gave up our 5th & 6th round picks for Cooks & Gilmore. Add to that our 4th For Lance + didn't we use another pick to move up for Overshown?

How many draft picks are we getting in the coming draft?

Are they holding the fort or do we need some LB help next year ???
Dixon Edwards was a starter for all 3 Nineties Super Bowl seasons...

Quinn seems to be similar to Jimmy with regards to LBs.
- Does not require super stars.
- Fast and reliable.
