This has been my struggle all offseason and this is what makes it so hard to buy anything these guys are selling. If they really just wait until August to resign these guys when the cap money gives zero benefit towards 2024 it really proves that they have no intention of winning a championship.

They are not planning on resigning any of them this year. They are trying to wait until next year.

2. Is Dak not going to test FA?
3. Is Micah going to be happy with complacency from GM Jethro?

It's just stupid. There is no method to the madness. This is how we ended up getting locked into Dak for ever and ever instead of just doing the deal right away.

But let's understand why they did it. If they resigned Dak and Lamb two months ago, they would have created a bunch of cap space and then it would be tough for Jerry and Stephen to claim they are cap poor. But now that FA has passed and they are only sitting on like $4MM in cap space, they can perpetuate the myth that they could only do so much.

Am I wrong or is saying you don’t have the cap space to get any better when you know you aren’t good enough as is mean that you’re not any good at managing the cap?

I suppose Jane didn’t follow up that way. If she did it would likely be the last we’ve seen of Jane.
