LOL. No. They were just beat.

When a player says the opposing team had an "answer to everything" that doesn't mean the team quit. That means they were just straight up manhandled, i.e., outcoached and outplayed for the personnel and scheme that was in place.

I hope this is not an argument for "the defense just quit, therefore Dak didn't suck and isn't responsible for his play in the loss". How many such threads are you going to start suggesting the former? Even Dak said he sucked because it was too obvious to deny.
Pretty much nailed it.

ANYONE who is trying to blame just one side and give the other side a pass CLEARLY has an agenda.

Defense stepped on the field first, and promptly got bullied for a TD on the very first drive, then proceeded to give up TDs 6 of the Packers first 7 drives.
The offense stepped on the field, and promptly did nothing to answer the call, including not doing the D any favors with a pick 6 before the half to go down by 4 TDs.

The WHOLE TEAM got their ***** kicked.

He said, "You only have some many plays that you bring to the game. They had counters for every one of them."

That means Quinn got his cookie taken by GB. It is not that they quit but that saw their scheme was outmatched and outcoached. He kept on trotting out 4-2 fronts against 12. It was a raw deal.
It was extremely embarrassing. The Jackie Smith drop in the end zone in the Super Bowl 13 against Pittsburgh hurt like hell but nothing as embarrassing as the GB game.

We know the defense stunk, this isn't some revelation. But the QB gets the big bucks, so it's natural to care more that he sucked.

You cannot pay a Quarterback 23% of your salary cap or whatever it is to come up small in the big games.
That’s such a naive, uninformed take. SMH.

I hope you just didn't make up a quote to deflect the topic of the defense being lost to bring up Dak

I feel like Zimm will mentally toughen up that D. Wasn’t the first DQ defense to fall apart. Don’t know who is going to get the offense going though when the game starts out wrong. They gave up just as much as the defense in some of the humiliating defeats last year.

That's nothing. Some fans have already quit on next year.
Fans have every right to quit on the team for the next 10 years if they so choose.

You cant possibly think that is even in the same realm as players and coordinators rolling over in the 1st quarter of a playoff game.

Everything you do, say and most of your life is about Dak, including this thread which is an excuse for him.
The defense did not play well, I agree but the loss was on Prescott, he's the leader, he's the QB.
He put the defense into a deep, deep hole. This defense was not built to stop the run, but to play with a lead and rush the passer.

Quick game review:
GB scored first, they put up 7. We get the ball, Dak over throws Lamb on 3rd and 8 from a clean pocket, we punt.
GB gets the ball, our Defense holds and forces a punt, we get the ball back, Dak throws an INT at our own 18 yard line, GB goes up 14-0.
We get the ball back, Dak holds the ball for 7 seconds on 3rd and 5, takes a sack, takes us out of FG range. GB gets the ball and goes up 21-0.
Defense was exhausted, they were running it down our throats.
We get the Ball back Dak throws a really bad pick 6, we're down 27-0. There's 2 minutes left at halftime.

TOTAL CHOKE JOB.

But . . . but . . . but. Dak tried to bail out the defense by holding on to the ball for 7 seconds. He was trying to get the defense a longer rest time

One things for sure, he’s not going to just let Micah play the way Micah wants. It’s going to be interesting how Parsons and Zimm get along.

Does this factor into your perception of reality or do you wish to continue to deny the impact of it?

I thought it was obvious.......lol
I do think something happened team-wise that week that hasn't come out. I don't know if players partied, didn't practice with a sense of urgency or just thought they could simply walk on the field and win.

All I know is that game is THE worst defeat in franchise history IMO........factoring in what was on the line, how hard it was to gain the advantage they had and they didn't compete.
It was obvious but I agree they all Including the Coaches came in not prepared and got embarrassed Quinn jumped ship to Washington Mike on a one-year deal Jerry's All-In lie No activity in FA so here we sit. On one hand, I am trying to be positive and on the other having feelings that these Owners just don't care.

....Quinn's Dallas legacy, ended with fizzle.

That performance topped Jurassic Marinelli's debacles.

Not once did Marinelli's defense ever get blown out like that. They could give up 200 yds rushing, yet defense stayed in the game.

That Packer game cemented the clown legacy Dallas seems to uphold.

Anyone who blames the GB game on the QB IS naive and severely lacking football knowledge.
It's a team game, defense and coaching played a part too but the QB is the most important position and he choked it up.
You can project all you want, you may find a few homers to agree with you, but the entire football world does not.

In the GB game, Dak put our defense in a deep hole with a INT inside our 20, a Pick 6 and two missed 3rd down conversions all before halftime, led to 27-0.

Come on, give me something REAL to dispute that fact Rockport
