Cowboys private workout w/ Joey Bosa

Isn't this from last week? We'll see if he gets an invite to the Ranch.

That's what I thought...but the tweet said from 3/26...so that's on a Saturday. Speculating...we are really digging in to find out about this kid. You just don't send your 60+yr old D-line coach in for a private workout for nothing.

I'm glad they did....don't want another Mo.

Yes, they had Rod work the kid out to see what he has but they also had many other position coaches there as well working out prospects.

Gary Brown was in a video working out Zeke, Wilson was looking at Cardale Jones and Eberflus was working out Darron Lee.

Braxton and Von Bell may also have been there but the video was limited in scope.

They interviewed him at the Combine, attended Ohio State's Pro Day and, according to most reports, worked him and Elliot out specifically last week when they went up to Ohio State. They can leak whatever they want to Lance Zierlein, but their actions indicate they are indeed interested.

Anybody else find themselves coming around on Bosa? The more I read, the more I feel this guy is somehow getting underrated. It doesn't seem to be hurting his public draft projections, but he's universally listed as a top-5 player and he's pretty much the guy nobody seems to want. The more it goes on, the more it gets me thinking he's a value player who's not getting respect because he lacks flash in terms of sack numbers. It's kind of got me rooting for him, Ohio State or no.

Think he could create more havoc if they slid him inside or had him stunt. If they do take him, which I would rather have someone else, I hope he commands enough attention with double or triple teams that at the very least it opens up some things for others.

I think he and Goff are the two most likely picks for us at this point, and of the top 4 candidates (with Wentz and Ramsey), Bosa'd be my last choice. But I still could see him coming in and being that surprisingly scrappy disruptive player for us that you look back on later and everybody scratches their head wondering why they didn't like him more in the first place.

Been hot and cold on the guy....but after seeing this....I'm back on the up swing. Didn't think he was that violent...Boy was I wrong:omg:

I will continue to toot his horn until draft day. His attitude and drive are exactly what is missing from this D-Line.

I think it was Tiny Jim suggesting he was 'the Zack Martin of the defensive line' that sort of turned me around on him. We'll see if it happens, but I wouldn't hate it if he's the pick by default. I still want a QB instead, though.

In a vacuum, I would as well. But, Wentz is not going to be there at 4 and I just don't feel Dallas is high on Goff. I think Bosa would make this D-line pretty formidable all the way across and fans will love watching him work.

I've felt he is underrated on here ever since watching video of him. We've got too many people worrying about his sack numbers last year and ability to run around offensive tackles and not paying attention to how well he uses his hands to fight off linemen, sets them up to get inside and outside of them with good foot movement and body control and then shows a burst to get to his target with ferocity.

Maybe the biggest reason I'm buying in...He has slid down and played some DT w/ some success.

I will tell you this, the way he tilts his head on the strike, that's not a good thing. A good OL will take that lean and use it against him. He will end up in the stands if he continues to do that. He's going to be off balance and it won't take much to use that against him. JMO
